you clearly haven't followed the gg4 threads over the years or you would know the story and why its called gg4 but I cant hold that against you cause your right in the respect that I should have known better but I did it and that's that,
Now that we are moving into the legal business world of weed we have to pay close attention to this sort of thing, when I named it I had no idea gg4 would become the 2nd most popular strain in the USA, I haven't learned to read the crystal ball or see into the future like you fart smellers

Fart Smellers... lol... that's funny oh my what a mental image.... took me right back to bio dome....

so basically any time someone says something in this thread that isn't "omg glue si teh beset" or "i love you josie" it's trolling then? asking for a troll friend lol. :tiphat:

There's a lot of ways to deliver one's opinion. That person opted to use wording that was clearly insulting. Clear to me at least. Some folks want to be able to insult others, that's fun to them for some reason. If that's their way, then they shouldn't be surprised that they are viewed negatively. "Boo hoo. Someone doesn't like my insults and they insulted me!? That's mean."

Besides, trolls don't have friends. They're trolls.

If you are talking about my post you took it too serious. I am happy for my glue cut. I am sorry I came accross as insulting. I was trying to be funny while stating what I thought was obvious. Clearly there was no way to predict the strains success. And many others have made similar mistake.

What actual irks me is strains named Lsd, acid or dmt when they clearly are not going to live up to the name.

Keep sharing great clone and we will help witb names if you get too high.

Thx ona! She is one smelly bitch too. I will admit, I'm not lookin forward to manicuring all those flowers though. Gonna do my usual...wake up early, swing by Mickey D's for a sausage burrito n coke, get to my grow spot by 7am, and dive in. I always harvest one plant a week, but I always dread the glue. It's so damn stickey and there is always so much of it...grower problems fo sure! Hahaha!

Ikr! Most of my plants at the end look like that. The main branches are staked up top. And the medium/smaller ones that are not staked, always droop down. So even though they are heavily lollipopped, there are always flowers from top to bottom.

The last glue I had I got 255g (9.1oz). I think the one before that was just under 9oz. I usually veg them for 6 weeks, final container is a 5 gallon, just for reference.

I really hope that soil recipe works for you as well as it is for me. Like I said, I believe it's the combination of the amended soil along with using the bottled nutes (PBP + Calmag). Are you gonna be using any nutes with your waterings?

I tried using that soil recipe in the entire 5 gallon before (instead of just having it in the bottom half of the final container) and just used straight pH'd water, but at the end of the stretch they always started to yellow out quick. And I had to start using the bottled nutes again to keep them happy. Doing that, I noticed my yields went way up (I used to only get 6oz.). So that's how I came up with that method.

I figure using the amended soil just in the bottom half of the final container would let me use the bottled nutes at full strength without worrying about possibly burning the plants. Plus that soil recipe can hold on to a little bit more water than I like if I use it in the whole container. We all know from coco grows that the more often you water, the more growth spurts the plants get. So I like to water the soil plants every other day.

Damn!!! Was just saying how I never had mold with GG4, and now have some minor Fusarium. Cut off tips of buds and sprayed cuts with H2O2.

Any suggestions on what to use, and/or how to mix and if spray or feed. I probably already have most products, but get when it is too late.

Have Procidic, Serenade, Liquid copper fungicide, Guard (from India, think it is feed and not spray), Flying Skull Nukem, Greencure, and SM-90.

Why not adjust the soil recipe to get rid of the bottle nutes??? Seems counter productive to mix n cook dirt to just use bottle nutes to get to the finish line.., don't get me wrong that glue looks fire but seems like a good base soil like vermifire would be less work if going the bottled route...
Yo griz star nursery got alfalfa meal, also Andrew shop by you was gonna start to carry a bunch of amendments when I ordered my stuff years ago haven't been on that side of town in a long time no idea if he carries it.. But star nursery ya best bet...

I'm flowering in a 5 x 9 Gorilla Tent with two 1000w se hortiluxs, both in their own Magnum 8" air cooled reflectors. 8 plants in there total.

I might try to experiment with the soil mix. I havent been using this method for too long really. The idea initially was to be able to finish a grow from start to finish with water only. But after I saw my yields skyrocket, I figure I'm gonna ride out this method for a bit. Plus, I've read that when using 100% organic soil, it's hard to get a fade on the plants. Where as now, they fade as soon as I stop the bottled nutes.

I used to only use the bottled nutes with no amendments added to the soil, and I can definitely tell a huge difference now with the amendments added. Because now the plants swell up a helluva lot more during the straight water for the last two weeks. My yields went up 2 to 3 ounces per plant with organic soil added.
