GG$4 Day 1

GG$4 Day 1

I have 10, twice topped, Glue in 5 gal smart pots.
The first screen is 48" from the bulb, and a second one will go at 36" from the light. I plan on weaving for the first 15 days, then let them grow into the second screen.
Temps are 70 at 600w, and I will be upping it each week.

I'm looking for feedback from those that are using 1k DE lighting (Gavita, etc...).
I am about to flip my first run at my new place, and this will be my first run with these lights as well. I have read through the Gavita thread, and have read that 36-40" is ideal, but I believe someone was posting good results from 30-36 though. On the flipside, someone got 1/4 of their normal yield from too much light!
I have marked on the wall from 30" to 48" from bulb. I will be doing a double screen for support, with the first screen at 48" from the bulb. The second screen will likely be at 36" from bulb, with tops at 30" ideally.
I know some strains are very light sensitive, and more/closer is not better...
All plants have been topped twice, and are in 5 gallon Smart Pots. Going VermiPro (coco mix), and DTW. I know 5 plants in 5 gallon pots is likely overkill, but it will ensure a quick flip, and full canopy.
The most important factor that I am concerned about is when to stop weaving into my base screen. If my memory serves me correctly, the Glue stretches for the first 3 weeks. My thought is to weave for the first two weeks only, then let them shoot for the light, resulting in an even canopy of spears.
Thanks for any advice/experiences!!!

You can try it at 30" you need to keep a good eye on them. They put out more heat then SE bulbs do.These make your plants transpire much faster. If you can't keep up with it you will get leaf taco even with good canopy temps. It didn't really cause problems that effected anything. It just looked awful and I knew this was stressing the plants. I was fighting this forever. I finally had to raise the lights up. She hates to be fimed/topped multiple times 2-3x max.

Made some killer GG4 hash.
Dry sift then thouroughly cleaned an pressed.
Full melt tastes amazing an smells great too!
Smashes on water hash all day long imho if ya got some time an the right screens you can get a pretty nice result. Probably shouldnt have put my finished pressed pieces on my first screen tray to shoot the pic tho....lol all those stalks have been cleaned out of the final rolled an pressed pieces.

Are the stalks any good by themselves? What do you do with them?

I toss em in my vaped weed jar to make butter with em later. Before I got good screens they were always in the end product.
I happily smoked em, if your tryin for the best of the best quality tho u try to get heads only.
I was attempting to make dabable dry sift hash.
I always get a nasty black residue im guessing its the skin from the heads? I dunno might have to turn it to rosin to dab cleanly.

It's the stalk cellulose. Leaves a bit of residue on the nail.
Static tech is your friend.

Edit; dam auto correct.
