The glue is the truth.

I know that with some QT, maybe another 1-2 runs and I can get this bitch to put out.

Killer cross, glad to have her in the stable.

Canopy Distance at Flip?

Canopy Distance at Flip?

I'm looking for feedback from those that are using 1k DE lighting (Gavita, etc...).
I am about to flip my first run at my new place, and this will be my first run with these lights as well. I have read through the Gavita thread, and have read that 36-40" is ideal, but I believe someone was posting good results from 30-36 though. On the flipside, someone got 1/4 of their normal yield from too much light!
I have marked on the wall from 30" to 48" from bulb. I will be doing a double screen for support, with the first screen at 48" from the bulb. The second screen will likely be at 36" from bulb, with tops at 30" ideally.
I know some strains are very light sensitive, and more/closer is not better...
All plants have been topped twice, and are in 5 gallon Smart Pots. Going VermiPro (coco mix), and DTW. I know 5 plants in 5 gallon pots is likely overkill, but it will ensure a quick flip, and full canopy.
The most important factor that I am concerned about is when to stop weaving into my base screen. If my memory serves me correctly, the Glue stretches for the first 3 weeks. My thought is to weave for the first two weeks only, then let them shoot for the light, resulting in an even canopy of spears.
Thanks for any advice/experiences!!!

In my experience, the glue will stretch until day 25 or so. From there, you can plan on an extra three to five inches of thick colas. The glue seems to take the extra light very well, yet, the gavitas are very intense. This run I am experimenting with the 6/750 el de flex bulbs. I am going to keep a solid 24 -30" distance from the canopy. I would assume 30"+ with the de 1000 should be fine, as long as Temps don't go crazy high and you have adequate air flow.

Hope your de run is a success. I'm hoping to see a 750 do what a 1000 se can in the yield department. I may have high hopes, yet, I'm very optimistic.
