Nice, great calyx/leaf ratio going on there. Excited for my upcoming first run with this lady. She roots very well in the aero.

really I get 2lb of glue I never got anywhere near that with GSC forum cut same wattage and plant count. 1 gg#4 in a5g pot yielded 13.8oz.. I would be lucky if I got a lb from 4 GSC plants More like 5 oz from 4 plants

Yes, you're running a little rich on the nutes. However the lower right leaf in the second shot might be suffering from some opportunistic mold...

thanks. i dont think that is mold. it is the same type of burn as the other leaf tips but a little worse

Thank you for that info. But i have thoroughly looked them over and i am confident that what you see in the pic are burnt leaves. Not mold.

hes not saying they are mold. hes saying the burned leaves invite mold because the burned spots are dead material. dead material invitess mold. so while they are not moldy per se they are points of vulnerability to mold and thus could become moldy more easily because of the breach in the plants tissue from the burn.

in other words dont burn them next time because your plants will be less like ly to have issues if they arent burnt. stick to 1.2 and adjust cautiously upawards if they get hungry. youll get better healthier results.

ahhh i see. thank you for clearing that up. should i cut the badly burned leaves off or just ride it out? they are 44 days in.

id personally ride it out with leaves that are still mostly green and photosynthesizing. just take it easy next time. itll be dank though no worries. you can give her a licking and she still produces fire. even if its a little less dednse its got bag appeal for days and will still be sought out.

cool thanks. ive been growing for about 5 years and have tried alot of strains but the trich production on the glue has me impressed to say the least. im sure it will be fire.

Ide cut off the burnt tips but leave the rest of the leaf alone.
A leaf will continue to photosynthesize until 80% of it is dead.
I pull off any leaves that are that gone, and cut the tips off any leaves that got tip burned.
Remember, less is more with nutrients. A plant will let you know if it needs something.
I just use FFOF soil and that takes me all the way till harvest with little to no nutes at all.

thank you i will look into that. this is my first run with AN and I thought i was being conservative with the nutes but i guess not lol. I have burnt some leaf tips before but never really this bad.

got to call you on that one, no way no how will cookies come close to yielding close to gg4,

OK guess my scales are broken LMAO.
U guys that all hate on cookies yield are doing something wrong
I can get close to 2 elbows a light.
When I run all 1 gallon bags, the average yield per pot is only a couple grams difference but whatever you guys say.
I've said this since the first glue thread
9 1 gallon per light usually give me 28-29 zips. Always average over 3oz per pot
My average on the glue 1 gal is 3.5 zips per pot
my 2nd to last glue mono was 25 oz from 11 plants. Not great. Still chopping the last run but was 6 plants 1 k.
Maybe outdoors there's no competition but inside I thing tweaking may need to be done n they are to far off Really
JW if i ever have a mono of GSC I'd love to have you over for a look.

which cut? my thin mint cut was given to me by a guy pulling some decent numbers of her too. it has to do wit h whether you get it to stack or it does the popcorn top. it does that if you look her sideways. but the ones that get the goldylocks conditions can make nice dense top kolas . the yield is dramatically different in those too diferent forms.
