I'm not trying to take anything away from your run as I always enjoy looking at your pictures. But have you figured out why your leaves are always burned up like that? Looks like a high heat/low humidity issue. I seem to remember you dealing with low ceilings, is that the issue?

Speaking of a proud owner of a jar of that 32.96% GG#4, yes. It is amazing. It's one of the few strains to get me so high I actually get confused. I sit there thinking I've forgotten something important.

And RB-26, when do you think your next batch's drops will begin?

In now having had a good month to reflect on the GG#4 and Chiquita, I have to stick with the GG#4 as being my favorite. The Chiquita completely changed my mind about Banana Kush, and is truly fantastic. The GG#4 is just something else entirely.

Thanks again for such fine work.

Thanks for the feedback its always appreciated. Next drop won't be too far away and I'm happy to say I think its surpassing the last run by a large margin in terms of yield and overall quality. I will let you know when the next drop is, as I would love to hear your feedback between the two last runs. I'll ask the owner of CC to give you a little hook up when you stop by for the new stuff.

I agree it does look like that however canopy temps are in the low 70's and humidity stays above 50%. After discussing this with other people using Gavita lights I've chalked it up to the light being too intense caused by not enough room between my bulbs and canopy.

I'm positive if I could raise my lights by 2 feet I would not have this issue. Doesn't seem to cause any problems with bud quality or yield so it's not a big concern.

Yes I do and to further comment on rb's remarks I don't really have burned leaves. I have severe tacoing of the leaves but not what I would call or consider burnt. The yellowing is because they have been on RO for a couple weeks. I believe it to be an issue where as they are transpiring too much thus the taco in an attempt to slow down transpiration. According to the papers I've read on vapor pressure deficit, the answer would be to raise humidity but seeing as I'm already in the 50-60% range I don't think I'm going to try that.

The issue doesn't present itself until around week seven. Here is a more recent crop in week five.

Starts at week seven and by week 9 we got this...

That there was a little better pic with my camera instead of the phone pic. Like I've said, I'm getting 2+ per 600 so I'm not too worried about. Next facility will have 10' minimum ceilings though.

I had the same thing on my Glue last run. I too felt it was a transpiration issue. The ones with less light never did it on me.

I get the same. This never happened until changing to Gavita... I know me and TC get this all I can come up with is to much light so will back off my lights to 36" above the plants .

I got five lights in a 12x12 room but its rare that I have the headroom to turn the up past 600.

Thanks for the info. Like I said, not trying to take anything away from your runs, just curious if you had discovered the cause or not. What are is your average GPW with running the DE's at 600W?

It's really tough for me to say. Upon entry to the flower room I'll have the lights at 600. If they transition well I'll turn them up to 750 for week 2 thru say 4. By the time stretch is done and they they are encroaching on the lights I back them down to 600.

That being said, with a 52"x52" trellis and four plants per I can usually count on 2 pounds(1/2 lb per plant). So I'll say 1.37846 gpw would be a decent avg taking into account the three weeks at 750 for an overall avg watt used as 650.

After a difficult childhood which included a U-Haul ride down 99 for these 22 girls they managed to provide 3.25 lbs under 2k and have left our fans in a stupor, clamoring for more of the primate adhesive once it subsides.

Great numbers, my current run is the first one dialed in for me and the results are outstanding. Really a totally different plant when the conditions are perfect.

TC. What height are you generally flipping at? Topping before flip?

Topped once and put in at around 32 inches from the bottom of the pot. I like to have four main legs per plant that should each produce around two ounces. With the side branching those 16 main legs will fill my trellis:tiphat:

That said, I would rather flower more, smaller plants but when working with plant counts I need to maximize yield per plant. Sometimes they get away from me, like on this latest batch. Stretched more than I would have liked.
