I prefer reflectix, but for my most recent basement I used panda. I got a 10x100 for for 65$(eBay)...couldn't beat the price. Used it to build a 5x5 veg tent and wall out 5x15 of flower room. I still have a decent amount left, but I haven't covered the cieling of bloom area yet. With the flower I was just trying to wrangle as much of the light as possible with doing as little work as I could get by with.
As for the growth on the GB, I'm getting more leggy plants with more internode. space than the bx. I killed most of my bx so I only have 2 to compare to the 10 or so gbubs. The trunks of the gbubs are thicker, but laterals are long and bendy.

I think they were a perfect match, each brought traits that helped the other!

Wow...most of us are more or less the same age. Myself born in the late70's and I too have a daughter recently turned 3, bws. I learned to surf the shitty waves growing up on the gulf coast and surfed OB, mission beach and a few other places up the coast when I lived out west. I'm now land locked, but you will occasionally find my old ass doing back side Smith grinds the bowl at the local skate park from time to time impressing my kids.

Bx female. I took her four tops to get her a bit bushier.

My other bx survivor. No pistils yet, but No balls either. I knocked the top off when it was a youngin' . I've crushed and bent down the two main tops to let the lowers catch up. I hope it pops some pistils.

The g-bubs I up potted. One for sure has pistils, one looks like it could pop some and one is looking male. They will stay in1gal until they all show me something....I'm not sure which is which

I ordered a bunch of different sizes root pouches, 25 1gal 50 2gal and25 3gal. I'm waiting on their arrival to up pot these bc all I have right now are a couple different size smarties and I want them all to have the same size pots for comparison.
More g-bubs all have only had the apical tip pinched off at 3rd or 4th leaf set. They branch easily.
