Pine Tar Gush! - better name than i've been able to come up with!

Cant wait to see how the F2s grow, GL Keif!

Good to hear you're getting through the jars of the F1 Tony, not bored of it yet?

Hey now,

Day 21 from out of the pack for this bunch. Last of the beer cup pics for these as they wait another week or so before potup to 2 gal. It's been pretty much on cruise control so far, just trying to guess some lineage from what i'm seeing in this small group. Mainly it's short-wide leaves with coarse blades and then a smaller type with a bit narrower, smoother edge leaf.

Glad to see you drop by VG, was hoping you could have a look at these and if anything familiar catches your eye. This is my first go with anything in the glue line and haven't tried your Pine Tar Kush, so kinda stumbling around here.

They really are starting to look more alike as they mature out of the seedling stage. Gets harder for me to see much difference each day passing. I plan to veg these all and take a couple of cuts from each. After the seed plants are sexed and cuts prove viable, I'll see what I have to work with and make decisions about going forward through the summer with this group. Lots of great genetics in these plants, really excited to be running these!

Lookin great!

Yo VG. Not at all bored! She is delicious, potent and a very interesting smoke.
Killed the 8 week jar then the 9. Im on the 10 week jar now and in love. Really really good for pain and stiffness. Been smoking on her for about two months and a J still does the trick like day 1.

Every pack was 20 plus so hopefully we see a bunch.

Keif looks like you got em dialed. My grow wasnt at all. Im expecting you to kill it!

Beautiful start with these Keif, I'm with Tony--expecting you to kill it! I came out of seed purchasing retirement for Pine Tar Gush, first one in 5 years I couldn't resist. Good luck going forward and we'll be enjoying the show.

Gold's never easy to find and I think you recognized a great combo with this one. Thanks for snagging these and giving me a shot at growing a few. I know you'd love to be in a position to run these yourself, but for now at least it's a win-win effort.

I wanted to run a couple of the Gorilla Bubble BX4 along with the PTGs to get an idea of what the male side might be like. So #1 and #4 will be along for the ride. These were started same time as the others.

Pot up time tomorrow for all PTGs after 28 days, out of the cups and into 2 gal pots. Picked out 2 best examples of what I see as the phenotypes in this group as far as overall structure. Not much to compare at this stage except leaf shapes. Pics show the differences better than words.

PTGs....#8, #3

Closer, #8 and #3

I hope they pot up well. Most of my plants love it, bet these will too.

Thanks, these PTGs are throwing some big leaves already. I'm thinking about topping about 5-6 node on half the plants and untopped on the rest.

Looking great Keif!

Having seen a couple of your grows over at my forum i'm really stoked that you are test-driving these PTG F2s. Your plants look consistently good.

Thanks VG, I've really enjoyed growing some of the great strains over the past few years that you've seen fit to rescue and offer. C4DD, Cherry Bomb, Blue Digiberry and Pre98 to name a few. Very happy to be running these PTGs and just potted up the group over the weekend. This is my first time working with anything from TonyG's glue line, so jumped at the chance when Cool Moe kindly offered to share his good fortune in snagging the PTGs.

My grow room is pretty basic and I don't have the powerful lighting that is needed to show the best yield from any given plant, but good enough for a small grower to raise healthy plants and make choices. One great help for me is the fact that I've been able to grow in the same place for the last 18 years under the same conditions. Nothing changes from one grow to the next, so your not chasing a moving target.

I'll post a few pics of the plants later today in the new pots.

hey Tony,

Looks like we're gonna be making some sticky/stinky buds here in a few weeks with a little luck! Have 10 potted up in 2 gal. cans for enough vegging to grab a couple of cuts of each, and then into flower. Can't believe the vigor these youngsters are showing, given they were just breaking dirt barely a month ago! Half are at least 12" tall and the rest are close behind. I use recycled dirt put through my compost bin and usually add nothing until well into flower. I'm sure I'll go through a learning curve with these and run better plants from the clones after the seed plants show me what makes them happy.

A few of my favorites after pot up
