Looking great Tony!
For the Gorilla Bubble x Pine Tar Kush I think i used pollen from 3 PTK males and used 2 GB girls which were both pretty similar, but one i think is a little more Chemmy smelling than the other. Both have since been run a couple more times and have proved well behaved each time.

Call it two and a half weeks under a low power t5.
All pretty uniform and exploding roots. Shitty pics but some striping on the stems.
Old lady helped me get em into 3 gallon pots.
Lets hope for some girls and boys to f2

Ptk x gb... Working name Pine Tar Gush for now.

Ptk via leangreen. F1s made by Verdantgreen.

Few days under hps vegging. Getting bigger quicker. All pretty uniform. The one in the upper left has longer nodes and is a bit more open, little thinner leaf.

yes, it is impressively potent and quite tasty. The first time i ran them i didnt do the best job of it but the second time i did better and was much happier with the vigor, and the buds were also a bit better.
Possibly not the best variety for growing under fairly weak-ass lighting like i use :) the leaves are quite dainty.
possibly the cross with bubba might change that!

i am actually thinking of reversing the two GB girls and doing the bubba cross as a fem'd one, not 100% sure yet, any thoughts on that let me know you guys. That is the project up next.

I say go for it. Should make fine f1s. Both are inbred to certain degrees. Lots of gb outcrosses produce massive colas. Would be very interesting to see. Massive resin and stone. Might get some hybrid vigor going...
Would be the first reverse cross ive seen using fem gb pollen.

Week out of solos. Very uniform. The tad smaller one
mid left took a day longer to germ and had a shell stuck for a couple days so a bit behind.

About a month in. 2 confirmed girls. One confirmed male. Females got topped and defolled. Male cut in half. Several other likely males. Hopefully a couple more girls. Sexed in a month. Not bad. Some leaf curl and a ballsack. Kicking out smells hard. Sharp pine smell with a tad of a vinegary skunky kick.

Haploid induction via anther culture then double the chromosome to restore fertility. Hope a pure homozygous line will be created.
Idk Rick. Need good aseptic protocol skills to start trying at least. We will see how it goes.
