If anything switch paper towels so mold don't grow. But yeah they just take longer than a poly hybrid mash up. The mom is an inbred s2.
Just be patient. The seed soak on those will help. Sour bubble is very thick shelled and there are lots of sour b in those. Just give em time. Tails peaking at 2 days sounds right to me. Haven't had anyone complain about the smoke or germ rate. I pop in dirt these days. Takes a bit longer but the dirt helps pull off the shell once they germ. I think you'll be fine.

Yeah Tony that’s what I do sorta. I pop them in coco and no heat pad underneath...about a foot from the t5’s, like 4 of them and the temp consistently hangs between 80 and 85. Seeds pop usually in 3 days...

96 Hours (4 Days) Update !

Don't worry guys, I'm not going to be a high maintenance newbie spamming this thread for all of eternity, once they get popping I will only post worthy results and pictures ;)

a 4th has just now opened up. It hadn't this morning yet, and I thought this was the end for sure, so I popped 4 of the last ones as well. So if they all germ, I will end up with 12 instead of the planned 8. But were at 4/8 now from this first run. The other 4 I started today I am doing 24 Hour water soak first.

The first 2 have a 1 cm taproot now so will plant them into Rockwool cubes.

Glad to see them suckers popping paulie.
Speaking of being a high maintenance newbe. Im hoping for some insight on stretch of these bx2s.
In vert they just filled out on the flip, had to tie a few buds back i guess.
I want this first run im this room to be as close to optimal as possible. I have 5.5 feet from the net to my de lights. Id like to see 2 ft of colas above. And am told 3 ft needs to be maintained from these de lights.
So my question is what can i expect for stretch once flipped from my glue leaners and sb leaners? If flipped with everything at screen level.
I have it in mind to pull tops down under the screen every day so as to fill it up.
If though they wont stretch much should i let the tops reach up a foot or so out of the screen?
Thanks in advance folks. Sorry, im sure this is a really dumb question. Just trying to be prepared to set the girls up to be the best they can

Let the sour b leaners stretch on their own. I'd train the glue leaner for a week or ten days on the stretch.

I found one a bit like this in bx3, but I absolutely love it. While it has a few characteristics (darker leaves, slightly shorter stature & denser buds) that differentiate it from glue phenos, it really grows very different from Sour Bubble. I have run most of BOG's lineup, and while they produce A+ smoke, the amount of large leafs generated that block light to lowers is significant. My SB characteristic bx3 has smaller leaves with much longer stems that allow more light and bud stacking versus SB alone, but the bx3 still has buds (max potency with a hint of sour lemon-lime) that IMHO rival and even maybe best what Sour Bubble offers as a head crushing couch-lock indica.

I know that there are stupid good glue-dom phenos from Gorilla Bubble, but in my personal opinion, this pheno is super special, as it basically is a better (vigor and yield) version of Sour Bubble, and I mean that with max respect to BOG, who I consider to be one of the true good guys in this industry. Hats off to Tony for working a truly special line!!! :tiphat::tiphat::tiphat:

Thanks for the report. Deffo some fire in the bub leaners. That's why I call em super sour bubble. Props to bog for his excellent inbreeding. The stability in sour bubble is why selections became rather straight forward early on and made further selections easy to produce reliable results.

Ok so in the end I got 11/12 Germination. And 10/11 Sprouted.

I had the final seed crack open on, check this out... Day 10!

Once again temps in the 70F-75F.

Anways glad to be part of the club finally. Look forward to sharing updates on these as they grow, as I have seen no one else grow them other than Double Triple OG, and they looked pretty awesome.

Going to be growing in Pro Mix, with Pure blend pro for the seedlings. Will take and keep moms and do further runs in organic soil.

Here's my keeper at a couple weeks into flower. Her structure is my fault, but it is nice to know the stretch is there if I need it. This plant was about 3' tall at the flip. Now she's about 6' tall.

You ended up keeping #1,#2,#4 around or? Which one is this? I hope I get something similar to #2, I just liked the look of it, similar to the 3 but it had nice colours too.

it was #2 or #3 I kept. Gimme a couple hours and I'll check the tag. Pretty sure I still have the original tag.
