Someone asked me the pk soil mix.

1 x Bag of Ocean Forest
1 x Bag of Canna Coco
1 X Bag of Happy Frog
1/2 Bag Chunky Perlite
30# Earth worm castings
6 cup pulverized dolomite lime 2-1 Cal/mag ratio
6 cups Bone Meal
2 cups Blood Meal
1.5 Cups Azomite
3 cups Kelp Meal

An earlier version had 3 cups blood meal 3 cups azo and 3 cups greensand. Pk said the latest version cuts n for a better finish.

Posting for posterity.

Can you re-use and top dress or reammend this mix it is it a one and done type deal? I'm currently making compost for a water only soil mix, but don't know whose recipe I'm going to try. I. Going to be doing it in beds so it kinda has to be something I can reammend or top dress or something..

Kinda freaking out right now figured, this would be a good place to share.

Had 100% germination on the GB BX2 - 15 seeds

Just did same wet paper towel method a few weeks later now on the Lime GB. Its been 24 hours, and none have cracked. Too soon to say with certainty, but its not a good sign so far. Any suggestions?

Temps have been 75-80F.

This is coming from a primarily clone guy who checks shit at least once a day after a week or so, but I've been messing with seeds a lot the last half year.

I would strongly advise you undertake a regimen of beer therapy for the next day or so, while emphasizing the relaxation aspects of said modality. Shit will pop, or flop.

Next time, you may wish to initially plop seeds in water for a day or so, until they sink, then transfer to the paper towel. I have tried this two-part method only because some ruderalis urban rooftop fucker up north swears by it, and he's always high on his own supply. Incidentally, he also likes a little beer before wifey gets home from work.

Seriously, though, I wonder about the worthiness of seeds that won't pop in a paper towel after a few days...

Best wishes.

Wait for 36hrs. If none crack do it ur self. Its not hard and can save seeds that wont crack on there own. The longer they stay wet without cracking they will become non viable.

Thanks for chiming in hammer good advice. The lime gb takes longer. My gb is thin shelled but the lime gb has a sour dubb s2 mom. Thicker shells more sour bubble ish type seed.
The ones I popped took 36 to 48 hours at least. Just be patient. By 72 hours I had roots popping out growing. 48 hours for tails.

a quick pass of an emory board (nail file) along the highest ridge of the seed will thin out the shell.. but I too use the shot glass>paper towel method. If they dont pop the first day, emory board..:flowers2:

Thanks Tony, Im at 48 Hours now and 2/8 are showing the tiny slit of white. So maybe they do take a little bit longer than most. So used to seeing seeds crack within 24 hours.

I don't want to perform surgery on these seeds and file them, or remove shells manually, as I will most likely damage the seedling, and then it's technically my fault, as opposed to the seed simply not being viable. I think this different than 1 or 2 stubborn seeds since all 8 are slow. I bet if I popped the other 4, it would be the same scenario.

Will make another report at the 72 Hour mark, Thanks for input guys.

If anything switch paper towels so mold don't grow. But yeah they just take longer than a poly hybrid mash up. The mom is an inbred s2.
Just be patient. The seed soak on those will help. Sour bubble is very thick shelled and there are lots of sour b in those. Just give em time. Tails peaking at 2 days sounds right to me. Haven't had anyone complain about the smoke or germ rate. I pop in dirt these days. Takes a bit longer but the dirt helps pull off the shell once they germ. I think you'll be fine.

Sb leaning pheno closest to the cam. Keep thinking I should toss it due to growth rate and yeild, but its some great smoke.
3rd container away is the stretchier better producing pheno.
4th has my 3 seedlings. One is def similar to my sb leaner. Other 2 are super vigorous. More so than my deadhead cross even. Excited to see what comes of them.
These 10k bulbs and co2 seem to really be pushing all of them. Up to 1.8 ec to sard off yellowing. Backing off the ec every top off til I see it again.

I found one a bit like this in bx3, but I absolutely love it. While it has a few characteristics (darker leaves, slightly shorter stature & denser buds) that differentiate it from glue phenos, it really grows very different from Sour Bubble. I have run most of BOG's lineup, and while they produce A+ smoke, the amount of large leafs generated that block light to lowers is significant. My SB characteristic bx3 has smaller leaves with much longer stems that allow more light and bud stacking versus SB alone, but the bx3 still has buds (max potency with a hint of sour lemon-lime) that IMHO rival and even maybe best what Sour Bubble offers as a head crushing couch-lock indica.

I know that there are stupid good glue-dom phenos from Gorilla Bubble, but in my personal opinion, this pheno is super special, as it basically is a better (vigor and yield) version of Sour Bubble, and I mean that with max respect to BOG, who I consider to be one of the true good guys in this industry. Hats off to Tony for working a truly special line!!! :tiphat::tiphat::tiphat:

I too prefer the SB leaners, as I had the glue cut already. My favorite gorilla bubble, and I've grown 40 or so, was one of the "runts" that many talk about culling bc of it's slow growth. It smelled exactly like bazooka bubblegum skunk. I never heard of anyone else getting one like it. She was definitely an outlier with genes that popped up from sour bubble's bubblegum origins.
I'm on my last 3 seeds now. 1F and 2M. Female is 2 weeks in bloom. I have one male that is almost identical to SB with huge thick stalk and short stature that I akes serious coaxing to get good branching and one male that is glue looking. I'm going to try crossing them to some things as well as hitting my GB female to replenish my g-bubbs seed stock. Thanks again Tony!

Never tried any of BOGs stuff. Read a lot of threads with folks running his gear though. Looks like lots of fire.
I was really interested in glue in seed form when i popped these. I think I ended up with a great sb leaner and a pretty dang nice glue leaner. Very happy with them.
Really excited to see what they do under these new lights with my environmental factors more dialed. Never flowered anything with horizontal lighting. Got 5.5 ft from my netting to my lights. Going to be a bit of a guessing game as to when to flip

2 runs now with my sb leaner. I keep wanting to call the smell a menthol. Such an interesting scent. I dont feel confident what Im picking up isnt more lime.
I keep missing out on the mosca indiana bubblegum. I have a real want to grow some of those out

I have one of those right now, I was just looking at it this morning thinking what is up with this guy! At 2 months old its tiny still, such slow growth, the rest are twice as big at least, it has that leaf twist thing I read meaning she is a glue leaner, I hope its a girl but she's taking her sweet time. Im planning on taking pictures of the gang once they are all sexed. 4/11 females so far. This is from a 15 pack of GB BX2
