Good or bad outdoor weather this season?

The extra stretch of heat in August got them to stack a bit more. Now that the nights are cooling off, they should really speed up. It's not just the day length that tells them it's time to come in...Temperatures play a huge part as well. Bless.

PS> Lake County is straight garbage. Yes, it's hot and dry - But the long time Lake County locals in majority are not that friendly to Ganja and the atmosphere in general in that county isn't that great..Have a buddy down there who has had nothing but problems over the last 5 years.

Wise words. It gets colder at my spot than boobs'. Had two nights last week that got down under 40 at my house. My plants are stacking much quicker than at boobs'.

With that being said I also get a lot more light at my spot, so this could be PART of what I'm seeing.

The weather here had been dry for almost 2 weeks (NE). This past 2 days it rain a good inch an a half. I hope that didn't get my plants that were drying outside too wet... ughh There were on a shady spot under trees, but it was a lot of rain... Oh well not much I can do now tho!

This rain was necessary tho, had topdressed the plants and needed that topdress to go deep! Girls were looking a bit hungry, hopefully this took care of it. Forecast is sunny for the next week or so!

Good luck to all yall!
Peace!

Been warmer than its supposed to be here in my section of the midwest along with being dry until last night 70+ mph winds thunderstorm (second storm like this these girls have survived) Now were at normal temps Big girl is on feeding decline flush starting Sunday bush plant is on maxed out feeding (about two weeks behind) potted clone is in puff ball stage and gonna get pollinated on Sunday in short craziest year in a long time and that consensus with all local growers but I should well exceed my 6oz goal that I set for myself

So I did a rough calculation based off weather.com. From the stats they provide, this August has been the coldest August in my home town in my entire life. I have only gone back 30 years, but it seems like it could go back much further than that.

I need to find a true source for weather averages, and when I do I will confirm my findings.

BTW - August is historically the hottest month of the year here in my home town.

The Rain never made it up North MDO Coastal. How weird. Usually it is the opposite, starts from N to S, but these Southern-Hemi monsoons are tailing up - not far enough to get to MDO Coast. But Butte..? Weird, I say. I bet Trinity got a bit too.

Crappy Cloudy here for days though. This is when I tell myself yearly, that I will be at least 4 miles inland next year. But, somehow, it never seems to happen. haha.

Most of My Flowers are for the most part just NOT filling in yet, like they usually are by now. I suppose it will happen soon and fast when it does, but I am a bit concerned. Any One else seeing this phenomenon..>?

finally got some rain up in the northeast. that heatwave/drought this summer was some pretty fierce shit. didn't lose any plants, even though i didn't water, not even once. all the OD I do is guerrilla steez, so the plants gotta be able to fend for themselves.

all the plants that were planted late May, early June did the best, and the ones that went into the ground late June early July really suffered, only water they received was from dew overnight, lol. I did a patch of late season(planted August 1st) ducks and they are doing great, 30+ single cola plants, 18" high, Julian style. might do a couple hundred of these next summer, they are really easy to do.

This is an average Duckfoot plant I have, about 3 weeks from harvest. It is about 4' tall and 6' in diameter. hoping for a half off this one.

Rain is gone for now, but some cold weather has moved in, 70's-50's this week, at least it's supposed to be full sun, maybe we can finally dry some things out.

The cooling nights are going to seriously screw my tomato ripening. Last year we had one month exactly of ripe tomatoes--Sept. 1-Oct. 1--then nothing. I think we got like a quart of tomatoes canned.

Aye, that tropical storm sat over the Sierra for two days. It was wonderful for me, even though mah hair frizzes, the girls, the veggies, everyone loved it. Except this one African I've got, she pretty much split down the middle. Thing is, the xylem remained intact on all branches, so I did my usual--got out the cheap duct tape, some green plant tape, the Hortonova and my husband. We got her taped and trellised up, then did the rest of them.

Based on these last few years, September is when it really happens for me. I plan on having everything down by mid-October, last year I had to pull anyway because I had a major surgery at the end of the month, but they could have gone (probably should have gone) until then since there was no inclement weather. Usually I'm forced to pull by then due to weather.

Y'all can take a quick look-see at what I have growin' on in my album. Needs some update pix as the buds continue to stack, but here they were about... damn, now I can't remember when the last pix were taken, 2 weeks ago...??

As for bud setting in thickly, it's just beginning to really happen on half my girls. The other half had begun in July, and those were the ones that split and went dicks in the dirt with the rain. Everyone else is able to take it without going DITD.

I cannot believe this, but I realized after looking over my notes that I haven't fed them anything at all except some foliared plant extracts and Sea-90. I have been a fucking LAZY bitch this year, I better knock it off.

Seeing most do some "filling in" now.

We are forecasted to have nice weather with offshore winds and low on the Coastal Fog. I have already started on the "Morning Search" for Botrytis. Cutting out likely chunks where it is starting. Freezing the juicy premature buds for later hashmaking.
There is always loss. Factored in.

hey Supermanlives - You smell that rotten egg smell that a good portion of so cal smelled yesterday? Same thing happened the day before the big quake in SF back in 1906. Right during big earthquake swarms in so cal.......hope I am just paranoid.

I didn't hear about that, OB. I was in uptown Whittier for the Whittier-Narrows quake, and my boys were staying with my folks in Landers for the Landers quake. I was in SD when the Northridge quake hit, but my kids and folks were up there. I felt it in San Carlos (just west of El Cajon)!

The only time I remember smelling sulfur was when I was a kid and we were driving past Baton Rouge, from Shreveport to New Orleans to visit family. I think there was a mine or something, everything was very yellow.

Check out this shake map.

Gloriousity Outside...!! It has been not optimum at all for about a month, and now we are in the BEST part of the year for Coastsiders. All smiles everywhere. Actual Female Skin to be seen. A rarity in these parts, except for Tourists Sporting Goose Pimples. Best part is that the Tourists are gone for the year now. It's "Ours'" again. Got really busy Labour Day, like I have never seen.

The Garden seems to have a "New Star" each day, as the Oils start to exhibit the different odours of all the strains I have growing in the Greenies. There are 5 different Cheese-Related SeedMoms going - fun to compare.

Interesting about the Sulphur smell before a Big One... I have experienced a few.

But "That" smell you are getting, Supes, means you will be high for the next few months...
