Looking great RC_Colas! :tiphat:

They look quite malawi influenced by now.... she still needs to bulked up a lot more in the next weeks. Promising grow!

Hope you are enjoying there too, because seems they are enjoying a lot with your cares :D

I will provider more updates at around 11 weeks when I am sure they will really bulked up, as the structure will certainly support that!:jump:

Thanks Charlie

Thanks dubi:tiphat:

Very perceptive of you BTW...since I did not show many pics of the Thai leaning phenos, as they are a bit slower and not as impressive yet:blowbubbles: The structure on all pheno is beautiful in their own respect:

Malawi = thin leaf set, columnar growth, heavy yielding single colas style structure, spicey scent with elongated bud formation:artist: Require support indoors even with electric fan assisted hardening due to bud weight!

Meao Thai= wider leaf set, short internod but more branching, slower flower on-set, tropical citrus scent with woody undertone, taller plant with open structure.

I will take these girls to the end even if they go 20 weeks:jump: to get every last drop! Great job and many Thanks for the outstanding genetics that should get more playtime!

Cheers

Agree with dubis words as usual and with lines descriptions although really dont know much about ACE malawi cut but she makes great and yields quite well :) About Meao Thai male used seemed after many pics and reports seen that made his labour greatly imho, as usual discretly, contributing to structure and lots of bud sites and calyxes, not great flavoured one anyhow but females this way do the rest on this matter... but all F1s sound really good. As said another time ACE had the chance to make some rare fopr today Thai x hybrids and believe job was worth all the way so is a unique opportunity to get them from ACE
Hope results are up there in yours, think will be like that, you run a nice grow RC
Enjoy
best everyone

Good luck flowering your Golden Tigers ;) best 'easy laugh' and trippy sativa i have experienced in the past years!

Thanks for the good information that I am looking for. I have some crosses that someone made to shorten the flower time. I like laughing and tripping. I miss that from weed.

A great post! Thanks RC, this info will be very valuable for me in selecting out each mother. Take care dude, and by all means throw some thai leaning pics up, would love to see them even if they don't look too far along.

No worries my friend...will put some up in the next weeks, still have a standard to keep;) These are great genetics, just require some patience but I can see the value that rests within:) Many thanks for paying attention to this indoor run and all credit goes to Charile and ACE for this amazing work...I am just a subject in this orchestra.

Please keep us updated. I have 3 packs of these that I would like to run after my Angel's Breath(Mango Haze x Afghan Haze) selection which might take about 3-4 months to do a double dive through phenos and maybe pop a 2nd pac. I am very interested in this run and I'm planning on doing a cross of the GT with either the SSH or AB or both over time if the GT is superb. I was going to do it with Bhangi as it has a nice high but tolerance built up way too quick, not a trait i'm willing to work with.

I can't wait to see and read your progress RC!

Hello Folks,

Here is an update at 12weeks (indoor) with about 2-3 weeks to go. Pictures do not really do the girls justice yet as there is still leaf to be lost so the resin covered buds are exposed:) I will provide more details at the finish, but smoke reports are positive, early samples at 9 weeks were strong, 2hr+ effect with no real edge; very happy and relaxing.

And the top colas of a Malawi pheno, dominant single cola the size of a 2L Coke bottle, still leaf to fall as it matures:bump:

Stay tuned and great work by Charlie and Dubi.

Cheers

Hell of an update RC, girls are looking real frosty, and seem to be swelling up pretty well. What kind of aroma's are you starting to get off each GT? Take care amigo:tiphat:

Damn...those look pretty goldang nice to me, RC. I've given great thought to growing these (or another meta-sativa out) but haven't bit the bullet on going 16 weeks in flower. Although, I guess ya gotta suffer if you want to sing the blues.

Thanks for showing us this wonderful plant!

Like others, I am too interested in this strain. I'm mostly curious about the malawi leaning pheno. Does it have more of an edge to it than the thai leaning pheno? More raciness, trippy aspect, psychedelic, etc? Does the high last as long? And lastly what's the taste like?

Also, I know it may be asking a lot but could we get a full pictures of the plants to see how they do as far as height is concerned please? If so they'd be very appreciated!

Will be watching to see how your lovely ladies turn out :)

Hi alaskind!

It's great to see you around! :) Golden Tiger high is crazy psychedelic, long lasting, 'can't stop to laugh' kind of high.

Hope you are fine there. Greetings!

Hello crunkyeah,

The malawi pheno has a stronger, denser, more psychedelic and long lasting effect than the thai pheno. The more thai influenced plants are more up, clean sativa experience. Aromas are oily, spicy, woody and lemony-citric.

Here's an outdoor Golden Tiger grown by a spanish grower. Hope it helps!

Sounds sweet, I have Some Golden Tiger seedlings and some Haze x NL5 seedlings going right now. I hope to get a few males so that I can cross the two.

Sounds like a very interesting cross. Malawi, Thai, Haze and a bit of indica. Best wishes! ;)

Sorry crunkyyeah,

Came in to the room 2 weeks ago to find the No.1 Malawi pheno had snapped in half under the weight of her top colas:bump: I decided to bring down the whole room as they were around 15 weeks anyway, so no chance as full plant pics.

Had sampled both phenos at the 10 week stage, very good, Thai a bit more creamy/bread bouquet and malawi spicey with lemon, long lasting, smiles, warm effects.

Cheers

Final Update:)

Final Update:)

Sorry I do not have more photos to share folks, but I had an unexpected harvested due to GTs snapping under the sheer weight of their buds:jump: Not a bad problem to have I would say, but lots of time trimming, etc... so pics suffered.

Here is one picture of a dried top cola from a Malawi pheno...should give you the general idea:bump: Smoke tests to follow, waiting for cure of buds in the jars.

BTW...that is a 2L bottle in the picture above, in case that was not clear!

Thanks to charlie and dubi!!!

Cheers
