The drying room smells like they are making lemonade and real vanilla ice cream at the same time.

And my favorites between all my pictures posted in this thread, done only with natural day light:

Am finishing up (11 weeks flowering) a few little plants, my OLD cross of Positronics Haze X Jack Herer and Ace Golden Tiger X Panama topped to a double cola, 23" plant tall. The GT is pushing new pistils after being soaked yesterday in the Megacrop/rainwater. Side and top LED lighting. Just installed an overhead HLG 260R spec, refurb. Love this thing. Must have pulled 50 yellow leaves yesterday, another first. I usually retain most of my fan leaves green until harvest. My feeling is I've got some residual broad leaf herbicide in one of the supplements I mixed in, either the cottonseed meal or bagged compost. Defoliants are applied to cotton fields and compost can have residual broad leaf herbicides if the purveyor added livestock manure (for the N source) from livestock who have been grazing on fields sprayed with herbicides like picloram, dicamba, 2-4D....... Commercial products are supposed to be "clean", but hoo nose.

FWIW top light is a new, heavy on the deep red and far red spectrum, refurbed HLG 260R spec at full power, side in a corner folded into an opened 90* at the hinge is my "old" ViparSpectra KS5000.with its driver outside of my garden. Temps are in the 80's F days.

GT colas are really thick and started to flush again after feeding them the first time with a MegaCrop Part 1, a 11-5-15. Smell is very limey.

She looked lovely finishing indoors @Old Uncle Ben :) with such impressive colas showcasing strong Thai influence.

Glad you had the chance to grow and now experience GT x P—one of our finest sativa polyhybrids and a great introduction to our latest super sativa hybrids. Hope you're enjoying her through the curing process! ;)

Thanks for all your support and funny you should bring this up. I plan on trying it tonight. I had a nasty root problem, a first. Plant went on the decline with very little trichome production and then got some botrytis in the 2 main colas. Just weird. I had sprayed them with Forbid 4F due to white flies. Again, I suspect the root damage was due to my soil mix, maybe tainted with a broad leaf herbicide. It may have been the cotton seed meal I added.

I did a major harvest and then put the plant back under the lights. Left it there for about 3 weeks and got really nice small nuggets with good trichome production. That's what I'm trying first. At least I had enough healthy root mass to pull that off.

No matter the root mass, I pride myself in developing heavy root production. That's what it's all about. Here's an indica back in 2022.

Thanks for all the updates and for choosing Golden Tiger x Panama for your mono SCROG @OZZ_! 🥰 It’s a very suitable sativa polyhybrid for this type of horizontal net training.

Hopefully, the unselected seed won’t disappoint and will express traits that match your taste. So far it looks promising, with Panama dominating in structure and resin production, along with a noticeable Thai influence. Let’s see how she evolves in the exciting weeks ahead!

Thank you amigo…. Wonderful cross here!

Very much looking forward to the next phases of flowering

Day 39 on the Golden Tiger x Panama. Not my finest work —> we had a cold snap about ten days ago and our house is a ranch on a slab. Autopots trays on the floor of the tent getting cold and the roots getting chilled. At least that’s what I’ve decided was the issue. I added a foam board underneath the tray, also turned off the undercanopy lights to eliminate variables as there was too many moving parts. I’ll keep it simple for the remainder of this grow and try again with a fresh clone soon. Also I popped another seed of this strain too.

Like most sexy females this gal is throwing all kinds of mixed signals. Firstly she is yellowing her lower fan leaves which is a textbook sign of a LACK of nitrogen, while at the same time some of the upper fan leaves are clawing which is a textbook sign of too much nitrogen. There’s some tip burn and burning of the edges of some of the fans saying the nutrient levels are too high yet there’s random deficiencies seen here and there. I’m positive the roots got chilled and in these autopot trays if they don’t drink properly they are not turning the solution over in the trays quickly enough, the PH can start swinging on you **not in the res but in the trays themselves**. Overall she’s still doing ok, just not perfectly dialed in like I prefer…. And I’m still looking forward to the sexy satty smoke that will come. Her terps are still out of this world. Lemon pinesol floor cleaner. 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋

Thanks for the update @OZZ_ hope you are feeling better and fullly recovered 🥰 the cold of this winter is also killing me! Yep, looks like she went through some kind of ph swing and/or nutrient lockout. Check in detail ph and ec and share (if you have the data) the levels on these 2 variables and also temp ranges since problem started.

Yep, looks like she went through some kind of ph swing and/or nutrient lockout. PH in the medium ranges between 5.7-5.9 (coco) ….. and EC has been anywhere from 1.8-2.0 noticing tip burn beginning around the 2.0 mark.

Lights on temps are around 81-83F degrees but lights off temps would get down to 69-70F degrees.

50% RH average with a VPD around 1.5 kPa

These are values I always run and stay within and have had great success with.

Keep in mind the temperatures quoted are the air temps, What I suspect happened is that my concrete slab foundation on my house probably got down to 63-65F degrees, and the autopots trays that bottom feed my pots got chilled. It’s very possible the nutrient solution reached less than 65F degrees and with autopots there is a constant 1.5” water table at the bottom of the pots.

This bottom feed mechanism works great when plants are actively drinking, but I think the roots got chilled from the cold nutrient solution causing these issues.

I have made adjustments to the room and things seem much better. I put a 1” piece of foam insulating board underneath the tray, insulating it from the cold concrete floor and also shut the door to the grow room allowing ambient temps to rise at night. Additionally I turned down the whole room exhaust which also increased ambient temps and humidity too.

With these adjustments I’m now seeing nighttime temps of around 75-76F degrees and the tray is no longer sitting directly on the cold concrete floor.

Next week our outside weather is expected to jump considerably to 85-90F degrees already, so the cold weather is coming to an end anyway.

Hopefully she can shake off the chill and continue through harvest in a decent fashion and I’ll re-run her again alongside the new GTP seedling I have above ground already.

Thank you for your insight on the matter as always Dubi!

Week 7 …. Our weather has warmed up now and room temps have improved, she’s looking pretty burned up now…. but should be ok overall. I’ve reduced EC and ppfd, also bumped RH a bit and she seems to have perked up a little from the adjustments…. She was looking really sad last week. The previous damage to the fans will of course remain. Next time I’ll lower EC and ppfd as well all throughout the grow. I’m going to turn around and rerun this clone alongside another GT x P seedling I’ve recently sprouted.

Looking like 3 - 4 more weeks maybe around week 10-11ish but we will see. I would love to see a reflowering which would tell me she’s recovered from my environmental modifications, but not sure she’s happy enough for me to get it. We will see 👍

She look good my friend. GT have sensitive leaves but can produce real nice buds even with damaged leaves. I'm sure you will have plenty of reflowering. I noticed to reflowering process being real slow but steady with GT and coming by strong waves with Panama.

Good luck for the ripening phase ✌️

Thanks dude I’m very much looking forward to the last half of flowering and see what she’ll do.

At this point I think she looks almost like a pure GT, but terps are ALLLL Panama. Loud sharp lemon pinesol floor cleaner.

Basically she’s a GT with better more refined terps 🤘🤘🤘

We will see what the effects are like soon enough.

Golden Tiger x Panama came down a little early at ten weeks. Should have went 11-12 imo but I kept dropping the ball on different things so I wanted to take her down before she deteriorated to the point it would affect the flowers. I decided I’d rather take her early in reasonably decent health rather than take her later but at the risk of her becoming more and more unhealthy. Will run her again alongside another GTP seed I popped also.

Looks real good for 10 weeks only. Nice swollen calyxes. Bud structure reminds me more of GT than Panama. Can you tell us about the aroma ?

Agree 100%. She looks very very GT to me now, also. Terps are all Panama though. Lemon pinesol floor cleaner or lemon pledge furniture polish if you’ve ever smelled those two products you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Unfortunately terps were declining due to poor health of the plant, which is another reason I decided to chop early. Hoping a nice dry and long slow cure will preserve what remains and I’ll report back on that.

I will say this though I was so extremely impressed with this plant before I fumbled my parameters, that there is no doubt she’ll get another run and with her grower staying more on top of things too 👍👍😉

Flowers came out quite nice @OZZ_  for a first indoor run with this seed. As you know, growers may need a few rounds with super vigorous sativa polyhybrids like this one to really dial them in from clone and reach their full genetic potential in a given environment.

You set the bar too high with the first round of the GT-leaning pheno from your Zamaldelica, hehehehehe :tiphat:. Looking forward to your future efforts with your last GTxP seeds!

Haha thanks Dubi….. I blame all the poly hybrids I’ve been growing for the last year. It seems any time I take a break from satties and then come back to them it takes me a grow or two to “re-learn” the lessons I’ve learned before …. When growing them. Lol

Either way as you say the flowers came out well enough and I’ll be rerunning her. Currently vegging out the backup clone now as a mother for cuts, alongside the new GTP seeds as well
