I bet growers from Chernobil already grew glowing stuff. IDK what the extra value is of it since in my vaporizer r joint I cannot see it glowing and besides it sounds toxit as F*.

As with most things, it's cool, it just shouldn't be institutionalized. Like authority has been, or religion in the past, etc. Do whatever the fuck you want- just don't make it anybody's problem.
In other words, fuck yea let's hack nature and make some weird organisms, but let's work to preserve nature in its... natural.. state, at the same time. Nature's not perfect, but humans really aren't perfect, and our capacity to fuck shit up is too large, so we need safeguards.

Genetically modifying primitive organisms like bacteria and viruses was exactly what the Soviet germ warfare program was doing in the 1970's. They kept that shit in underground labs deep in the cold of Siberia because they knew their Frankenstein antics were insanely dangerous. Now in 2016 someone who looks like Doc from Back to the future with a raging crystal methamphetamine habit will do it in their garage with these silly GMO kits with the door open on hot days.

All life I'm aware of contains viral DNA and depended on it for horizontal gene transmission as a critical part of evolution. We would probably not be if not for viruses. Your DNA is probably at least 5% ancient viruses.
