Givin it another shot

I wound up not cutting over the weekend. I was just too beat. Had a great time with my grandkid tho! Only 6 and I can’t believe how smart he is.
Anyhow, here’s where I’m at now. My rocks are washed and soaked and my buckets balanced and prepped. All I gotta do now is cut! I don’t think Il have any trouble cutting before I go to work. I place my cuttings directly into 3” net pots with rocks around them. I don’t mess with no cubes.

Here’s when I cut yesterday. I took her down an extra node. I didn’t really want to but my eyes failed me. So she’s just a bit shorter than I had intended. But in the long run, itl probably work to her benefit.

And the cuts look great! 2 more than I was going for actually. So I got 8 in total. I’m just gonna post again and show what they look like today. Theyr all lookin at the light now.

And here she is this morning with her clones. They all look great! Now I hope they all root well for us.
Damn. I hope she’s the one. She really looks like she’s gonna be.

So tomorrow will be a week and still no sign of roots. I usta get 100 % rooting success with this tek. I’d usually have roots in a week. But so far nothing. Keeping my water at round 6.2. Just used clone gel and stuckem in the rocks. This has always worked for me. Does anyone use any additives in theyr DWC water when rooting clones? Just thinkin that Mabey there’s something I can put in my water that might help them root quicker.

i would also try to shade them because they can't make photosynthesis yet

Thanks aCBD. My waters at bout 70f. And good idea bout the light. Il get it higher tomorrow. And mabe even move them in moms shade too.

And I got a quart of Olivia’s root solution commin too. I figure it couldn’t hurt. Mom’s lookin real healthy so I got lots of material to work with. It’s just strange because I feel like im doing everything just like I usta.
But really it’s only been 6 days since I cut tho. So I guess we’ll see what happens.

Was wondering if the light shining on the water through the hole could be problematic

Is your device making enough bubbles? Just asking because i only see two tiny bubbles. The more bubbles, the more oxygen is available but i guess if there are not enough bubbles it just takes longer. Never did a side-by-side experiment

If you have any kind of root-booster I'd drop it in there.
Edit: Another thought i had was maybe the cloning gel you're using expired.

Thanks aCBD! Yea I got all that in check. I’m just used to faster rooting. It’s only been a week tho. I’m waitin on some root stuff too. So hopefully I can get an nice cycle going here.

That's cool, was just throwing in some ideas but you're right, only a few days yet.
No roots after 2 or 3 weeks would be something different.

Important to not get impatient, think that's a common thing we all share when growing.

Good lookin out aCBD. I know. It’s just so weird. I usta do this same shitt in a week. Fully rooted. That’s what makes me think I’m missin something. I keep thinkin Mabey it’s the water. Ahh wtf. I went and jumped the gun and poured 6 oz of this shitt in each clone bucket. I didn’t know it but it actually calls for 6 oz per gallon. I just went with 6 oz per 5 gallon bucket so that’s a little less than 1/4 of recommendations. I actually got the wring shitt but I figured I’d try it anyhow. So far it turned my water black and drove my ph up from 6.2 to 6.7. Then it took better then 5 ml of ph down to get me back to a reasonable 6.1. So I figured I’d try, I got a nice healthy mom to cut from so I got plenty to work with till I get it rite.
