4x5 pattern is pretty small for a gavita, I think that with orca you should be able to to light the 6.5 depth with a gavita, 3 gavitas should rock that area

think so? is that enough light to light 4 3x6 drain tables? with 8 plants each..... Im lost for the moment...... hehehehehe:tiphat:

Yeah I thinks so, but I haven't done a flat grow in 5 years, so don't hold me to it. I am also a glutton for punishment, I fill my rooms to the absolute max, which makes working on things difficult. I have a buddy who has 6 lights in a double garage, I could put 18 to 20 lights in the same space. I would advise doing a perpetual.3 gavitas worth of harvest and flip is a lot of work. With a veg room you could harvest 1 light every 3.5 weeks or so depending on the veg time.

your going with 4 3 x 6 tables ??? your not going to be able to move in there ! that leaves you A half a foot ....... & you'd need double the lights & alot more cooling .... just saying

i thought you were going with 3 4 x 4's with 6 to 9 plants in each ?
that would give ya 2.5 feet to move around in & get to the plants & what not ....

yes , but the timing is a little strange is all . you'll be harvesting like every 3 weeks .

9 week strains .... 1 table pulled & filled every 3 weeks . 10 weekers will throw it off a little but still managable

so should i go with 3 4x4 witch I'm ready to do.... start on....start buying equipment for??? or should i try to use all that space and have my trays on bases that role around so i can disconnect the res and pull them through the door, the door is 4 foot wide..... i could pull the trays out into the shop to work on them..... WHAT SHOULD I DO??????

Depends on how hard you want to work. 3 4x4s would be less work. Like I said I am a glutton for punishment. Then again I only grow 6 months a year, now. Oh and I don't work a regular job anymore. That makes a big difference. When I did work my life was work, grow, sleep 4 hours and repeat. I have a wife and 3 kid's to support so my situation is different than most. I also had a 3to4 hour commute. It's easy to get burned out like this.

What ever you do I am sure you will crush it

plus if your work shop is big enough , you can always build another room later if you want more than 1 tray per harvest .
