Nice!! That fourth and fifth pic are where it's at. The bud in that fourth one looks dense. Are they as dense as they look? Love the inside shot of the double trellis . Show's how fat the buds in between the two trellis' .

Oh yea DTOG there hard now just about all of them, I was trying to display in between the two screens that's where all the weight is at.. and thanks man in really proud it's o ly 10 days to my first real harvest .....

Aspen: Does that occilating fan have a hard time penetrating the top trellis to get air moving in between? You have a massive amount of weight in there.

Hi TBone
It doesn't work that way....OK having a fan blow directly on the plants is a bad Idea, those fans never shut off....You would have sections of the canopy that Transpires and Dries out at a different rate... .Damaging that area of the canopy.....And i honestly forgot what that negative effect is called..... Instead what you are Looking for is Air movement in the entire area of the Grow without a hard current of air constantly beating the plants down.... I took a shot just for you to better explain....

See the fans are well above the canopy and each fan is pointed at the Wall across from it and just below the fan on the other side. Not the canopy..... These are 12 inch fans on medium speed as they oscillate the two streams of air collide creating turbulence gently forcing air down through the entire canopy on a constant basis...Without blowing directly on the plants.....You can even feel the air movement with your hands on top of the pots...... What you are looking for is the leaves dancing evenly with a slight shake or wobble....Every Leaf...... hope this Helps...:tiphat:

Thank you for posting your explanation. Your thoughtful response really put it into perspective for me. I already knew what you were saying to be true but I didn't utilize what I had read in the past and I currently do have a fan blowing directly on the middle of the plants. I also have fans above the canopy like you do but perhaps I should turn that one off and adjust as required until I can feel the air coming down through the canopy like you described. Great explanation and tip, thank you.

Edit: I wanted to add something that I read here on ICMag that goes along with what you were saying about air circulation. I was told that if your air movement inside the grow room is dialed then the air temp throughout the room as well as leaf temps should be the same. I just wanted to point that out because of how air flow is related to leaf/room temp and just environment in general. I'm going back to lurking now.

And you are right Dell..... With enough air movement there will be very little difference between the surface of the leaves and the air surrounding them...

I found this thread of yours at around page 40 or so and that same day I caught myself up with everything you had going on, what a show. That's a very inspirational drip system laid out on page 24 :] it has my gears are turning again. I've wanted to do something similar for quite some time now but mounted on a wall next to my reservoir with lines to each plant. A 1 1/2" pvc manifold with a row of 1/4" valves to adjust the flow of each line running to a plant, the manifold would loop back under with a 1" return and a valve to adjust the overall pressure of the system. Oh man you have me wanting to get away of the ball and chain of watering by hand, i'll stop thinking out loud. Now on page 100 I'm as excited as ever to check back to the newest posts with fingers crossed in hope to see another beautiful canopy shot. Can't wait to see whats next.

HIYA Dabtime.... I tested the shit out of this system..... It works great.... I have some minor changes to make, my watering takes all of about 20 minutes about every 3 days..... And daily pH and ec checks 3 times a day..... And that takes 5 minutes..... This system delivers 1/4 gallon of solution to each pot every 2 hours..... And I just use a recycle timer...to time everything........ Good luck to you and let me know if I can help....
