GIRL's GOT SKILLS

One thing I can think of is a lockout caused by too much of one element. Usually it's too much calcium build up right around this time is when it happens in coco if your feeding too much l. I see some tip burn and leaf curling maybe back down to 1ec till day 54 then straight ro till harvest. My last run of glue got over 3 a light with 3 plants.

This area is 1/3rd of a 5x15 net

this is not supercropping, thats lst. (right?) i pop the stem enough to squish a pimple and leave it. they never fall or bend, just get a little knot there and slow it down so shorter branches catch up. pretty high stress.

edit - found the first mature seed...

Yes Nameless its more lsting the it is supercropping....

That's not the issue.... the few tips that are burned happened two weeks ago, i check the res 3 times a day one day i was busy and didn't check it the third time the next morning the res was just over 1.4 ec in fact it only got to 733 ppm . 5 scale, 33 ppm shouldn't have had much effect they only had that feed for a few hours maybe 3 feeds total and the tips showed that instantly, so i'm still looking.... Maybe that was the issue.... Maybe there is no issue and there just acting differently due to my environment I haven't really focused my attention on the environment totally..... I know the max temps they have seen was 85 and that only happened on the hotter days we have had this winter... so maybe 8 days total... thanks for your post and your plants look great.....

Thank you, 1.4 is pretty heavy for 1 light and no co2 or anything, I max out at 600ppm with 6 1kde gavitas. Coco and multi fed do great with lower amounts of feed..think of it as a body builder analogy
Small meals multiple times a day. Read the whole thread today ur doing great! Coco can be a real sob at times you'll get to ur goal eventually just keep at it.

Well i figured I would have some issues at some point..... still I may hit my goal... if not ill keep trying.... the bud is going to be great.... not bad for a total rookie....

Ganja you have 6 de gavita lights in a 5x15 space? How have you managed not to cook them all? how much ac dose that take?

Im way ahead of you on dropping the EC lol...... im sitting at .7 EC this week and ro the last two weeks that's been the plan all along so ill stick to it and make any adjustments in the next round....

It's 12x16 2 rows of 3 lights, 5x15 nets, I light the room not the plants, my room mid flower is pretty much wall to wall of nug. Lots of overlap and reflective the buds are same size everywhere. I end up with the whole footprint full of nug and no walk ways everything is good to go by the time I can't maneuver through it

I have a 3 ton mini heat pump it gets cold here, with inverter compressor so only uses maybe 2 tons of coOling on the hottest summer nights

So DP about the way i clone......

So DP about the way i clone......

I use the Turbo Klone 24.... To start with i take my razor and take cuttings, with a long thin angle to them then i sit them in a cup of water... I prepare the Turbo Klone washing it inside and out then filling it with ro to the line, Currently i'm using a rooting hormone from MBferts and as they were busted it's no longer available..... so i have some Clonex on order, I also add some epsom because my plants demant it, i ph the mixture to 5.6 - 5.7... I take my straight razor and shave off the outside layer of the stem abouta 1/2 up and the back side of the angled cut, then i put the cuttings into the machine inside the collars, I check the ph twice a day, every day i spray the cuttings with some carbonated water or a 300 ppm foliar and recover them. Every 5 days i remix the solution and replace it, I also remove the cover for a few hours to dry the tops before i spray them... if they look fine leave them alone if kinda dry soak them...

I think your grow looks pretty damn good Aspen, you're doing great. Your plants look very healthy I'm kindq jealous actually. I let my PPMs get a little high on me for about a week and you can definitely see it in the leaves.

yes much better !!! weird how they fattened up after you stopped the nutes . it might be to strong of a feed at 1.4 in your system . next time max out at 1.2 or 1.3 to see if it helps . you can always bump it it up if they seem hungry .

I agree with you on the hot feed. Noticed burned tips on some early pics. If I get above 1.2 on any of my strains I get clawing and tip burn. I don't know how some growers are running the higher feed levels.

For me I feed light and unless plants show a deficiency I don't mess with it.

One advantage for me with a recirculating system over DTW is I can monitor how much they are using and adjust feed levels as needed each grow.

i run mine at 1.3 to 1.4 max & get good results . her environment is just slightly different . i figured with the more intense lighting , they'd handle the higher dose . looks like just the opposite is happening though .

yeah you would think that the metabolism would be boosted by the gavita, isnt that what happens most of the time?

The guy who owned mbferts deserved what he got. He was a bigtime schiester who needed to be shut down.

Plants lookin on point, veg room gonna blow up soon.

Flowers look bangin, not sure if you mentioned if you leeched or not , but it's always good to flush with plain water with double the container size. So if in 3gl use 6gl of water for the first flush watering, then only feed water at the normal amount till the end...

It really helps, so does tasting the fans with your tounge when you pluck them for salt.

Thank you Waxi Ill flush them just like that.......next Monday..... Great tip about those fans two..... ill try that....

Yea i was like wow..... Ladies did i miss the party lol when i opened the door..... yes i talk to them....... Yall had me worried the last few days i was going back through my notes and the thread..... I had some reservations about going to 1.4 but they handled it for a few weeks without showing any stress.... until l i missed the third EC test one day and it had crept to 733 for a few hours......that's when the tips burned.... There are always adjustments that need to be made when in a brand new system..... Im So Stoked.....:yay::whee::dancer:
