I tried all the additives you can throw at it silica blast, LK, hydroplex, sweet, canna pk 13/14 a few others. Best I have done was when I started out with just calmag and PBP. 5/10 ml/g veg and 5/15 ml/g bloom.

We all might be weird but certainly you understand there are lots and lots of variables that don’t fit in simple equations: humidity, construction type, Florida, room size, r-values, dehumidifier, sun exposure, ceiling height, humidity, power bills that make you nervous, Florida, available space, ability to cool year round, it’s not all about numbers etc.

Honestly, I don’t know anyone on this site but from what I can tell aspen has pretty much decided based on advice she trusts in what could be an opportunity to expand the number of plants she can flower and still keep things “cool”.

That being said I would like to hear what lights you run.

Exactly.... Currently 2 1000w single end hps and a gavita 1000
Its impossible to burn more than 3 and keep them cool... My rh outside right now is 96%... Its over 100 6 months out of the year with an average of 86% rh .... I can however grow more trays I have the space and power.. But I have got to beat the heat...and the math tells me 6 trays will out produce 2.5.... And honestly I doubt from the looks of things that ill loose a whole lot of production...

I've learned how to build...systems and rooms... Power scares the fuck out of me... DIY lighting is a reach for me... Just I know where my limits are... Smokin Joe and Itchy... Would build them for me... I don't know shit about meters and ohms all that shit is harder to read than Chinese Script... Fucking squiggly lines is all I see with numbers... But fuck ya know... I had no idea 5 years ago how to throw 5 pounds of bud either... I just simply don't have the time to learn the technical stuff I need to know... To be confident.... For now... I am open to new ideas... I've looked at cmh and have a 630 and 315 for veg... My goal is simple... I want and need to have a prepetuial garden... Ill be testing for hammer in two of them... Its time for me to start turning crops on the regular... I have too many fine lines to run them three at a time... For 9 to 12 weeks.... I have Promices to keep... To someone special... And gone... At the end ill have 4 veg in rooms and a clone/mom room... AKA the DanPlan... And I've got to keep it all cool... No easy task here in Florida...

I have two 8 cree 3500K 3590 cob lights. This is a Sour Dubb leaf under one of the cree 8 cob lights. The plants love them. The leaf is on a 8x11 piece of paper.

You can also run 11 on 13 off instead of 12/12 to help finish faster.

I think you have those numbers backwards. The 730nm reds put the plants to sleep in minutes instead of an hour or 2. This allows you to use 13 to 13 1/2 lights on time. The plants still get the same amount of sleep with more grow time. That is what shortens the flower cycle.

My avrage is 2 per light with 630 watts. And from the looks of O's blueberry I can easily hit 3 with it.

I got to say, I picked up a 630 fixture off ebay for 180. Got a couple philips 930 bulbs and it puts out some insane light, takes my plants a good while to adjust even at 3 ft above them. Got mine in between 2 solis tek a1s. Ill be grabbing more for sure.
Dont have a flower run with it yet due to my ac shitting out and destroying my room

My rough example compared 3kw HPS to 3 HLG550v2 totalling 1440w in only a single 10.5x5x8 space with the current 2 4x4 trays and 2x4 tray.

453.6g in a true pound x 5.2 pounds last cycle = 2358.72 ÷ 3000w HPS = 0.78624 gram per watt.

2358.72g (5.2lb yield) ÷ 1440w (3 HLG550v2) = 1.638 gram per watt needed to match current yields from last cycle which is already stretching its capabilities.

3000w HPS x 1 gram per watt = 3000g ÷ 453.6 = 6.613756613756614 pounds.

3000g from 3000w HPS÷ 1440w (3 HLG550v2) = 2.083333333333333 gpw needed to match, unrealistic.

With Co2 you can break 1gpw with HPS.

Yeah my AC math was off, need more information to narrow it all down exactly. How many times does a guy need to write "roughly" and "rough estimate" to not get criticized for the only not 100% correct piece?

6 5 gallon airpots... In a 4x4...for me last time that gave me 5.2 lbs... I run 2 4x4 and a 2x4 total of 15 plants under 3k hps... Inclosed tightly with a 2 layers of Scrog... This time I want 5.5 to 6 out of the same room.... And I'm going to get it... My trays and plants can be rolled out of the space and into a work space... I then have easy access to every branch....l work my Scrog and and every stem... Then i rotate the trays under the lights with ease after watering....

I really am impressed w the rolling trays.... pretty slick there dude!! Are u going to run maxi bloom the whole way through or switch out to v and b in bloom this run?? I’ll prolly use maxi the whole way through this round just because of financial reasons but also I have never used v and b
