Why a 3 part? Why not try a round of Maxi Bloom.

Just finished my latest harvest. I run Maxi Bloom with liquid kool bloom and Mammoth P for additives. I get great results and I don't have nearly as good genetics as you have.

I have been testing megacrop and am switching everything to it all the way through. It’s so cheap and easy I water more so maybe that’s the difference. It’s been treating me right for the last couple of months.

I took a look at that product and in my opinion it doesn't look to have nearly enough PK levels for flowering.

9 6 17 NPK ratio

Maxi Bloom is 5 15 14 NPK ratio

Jacks 5-12-26 with calcium nitrate works out to 10-6-13 NPK.

I also give a few small doses of MKP in flower which raises the P and K some. I also add Proteck which adds some K and I PH down with phosphoric acid. which also gives a slight bump in the P.

I have always had good luck with potassium being 2.5 times phosphorus in flower so yeah it’s a touch greater than that but my results have shown no visible problems and excellent smell and frost. I hope to get the dosatron feeding things 5 or 6 times a day in the next set up. Most every nute I have tried has worked including maxi bloom, foliage pro, canna, new millennium, aptus and a few others. It might not be the nutrients that do the most.

So after fighting a bad meter for 3 weeks or so.... Ive flushed with ro... Today ill do a pH swing feed... First feed at 5.6 then 3 hours later 5.7 3 more and 5.8 and so on till I'm at 6.3.... Allowing the plants to take every available element... Blending each with each element in mind and loading heavy for that element at the proper ph for the plants to absorb easily...

I've blown so much $ on pH meters...I somehow or another find a way to break the little glass bulb. I always had the drops for back up and finally decided not to replace anymore meters. I'm with Ichy on the Jack's/calcnit. It's so simple and I've never looked back. I tried maxibloom and never could get the plants as happy as I liked. I had better luck with maxigrow in veg, but nothing has been as easy and bulletproof as Jack's. also, 25lb bag of each last year's. I have bought and used almost all the bottles, some worked great, some we're nothing but snake oil. I eventually eliminated all the bottles except GH heads recipe+protek before trying powders. What 3 part are you running?

Meters should last many years. Probes last 1 year max for me. Having a spare probe is a must. Also have a few of those cheap PH pens for emergency's.. I use Guardians. The probes are only removed from the nutrients to cal every week...

I love V&B. It is some of the most expensive to use.. 20lbs is $250...

I love the v+b too... Still not sure about moving away from it.... But I want the ability to adjust the micro part of the nutrients... The last year ive been spoon feeding what the plants need... When they need it... And its so expensive.... But the v+B has been good to me... So IDK... I am looking at the Cutting Edge Solutions line.... They arw about the same but the Cutting edge is more flexible...

What's happening people,,, anyone want to know more about a new tissue culture kit I have been developing ?,,,

part of the protocols developed for the kit include a clone (explant),,, sterilising procedure,,,,,,,, direct oganogenisis via explants is simply normal cloning with a scientific edge based in tissue culture,,,,,, uvc, h202 and 70%alcohol are used to remove all surface nasties on explants,,, bugs,, pm,, all are removed from the surface

Aspen why no more v+b??

It has some issues.... Not the best in veg without help and some additives and it has more n through the flower phase.... Its stable and quality... But I need more flexibility in my feeding... Its very hard to satisfy moms... Teens...and the young ladies all at the same time... Its that kind of thing... And the V+B is expensive... Single mom and all that... Ya know

So Dan was family... I can say this without getting burned... I loved him a lot... Still do... Dan was a tightwad... The man could stretch a penny... And I would get... One meter is enough ASPEN... Clean it and calibrate it... Go spend that 50 on Zoey.... Lol God I so miss him so much... He's that Angle on my shoulder.... That voice in my head.... And he's still a tightwad in my head.....lmfao
Ill have the BlueLab soon enough.... And keep a couple of pens around like you do... Ph issues are a thing of my past.... Just has to be that way...

These are what I call pods,,,

It's basically 2 sterile plastic pint cups ontop of each other with parafilm to seal (even tho that is insulation tape) ,, coco has been sterilesed too,,

shoot and bud diferenceation is one form of action when perpetuating a colonial veriety ,, so is root differentiation,, we use a ratio of auxin to cytokinin to determine actions in direct or even indirect oganogenisis,,, we instigate diferenceation

Anyway,,, so when we take explants (clones) we need to be sterilising them so that they can survive invitro (in glass) environment without being decicated or overrun by other organisms,,

I will soon be doing a full video on the method I call removing surface nasties,, it's simply a washing process,,, it uses uvc,, 70%alcohol, h2 o2 and distilled water using strainers,, i will explain apical meristem culture in due time but since you guys are currently fresh to tc I'd suggest incorporating a sterilising prosses for clones,,,
