even after soaking them in boiling water i couldn't push them further

thats one section of the Irrigation system... i think it looks ok...

thats not the tubing i had in mind but it will have to work... i wanted soft flexible tubing but that what was in the box so i went with it... it took forever.... putting them on the manifold... they will work till i have the tubing i want... and i upgrade the room.... 1400 gph pump and 3/4 inch plumbing.... should work great....

Looks good Aspenous. I finally got off my ass and got my drip system in. I had to get ball valves to adjust the flow. The beginning and end of the line are getting more flow. Hopefully it will be dialed in the next couple days.

This one won't need any ball valves.... Im going to Allow Gravity to even out the flow... those are 6 foot feed tubes.... And a 1400 GPM Flotec pump..... Everything will drain back to the res or to the pots....

Sorry it just looks like polypropylene tubing, hard tubing like for ice makers and ro systems. It doesn't do real well on nipple style connectors. You could prob use your hair dryer to heat the tubes, heat gun looks just like a hair dryer.

Have any of you gotten you w2 before and been super pissed off.... FML.... Fuck that place.... 50 hours a week to get totally fucked over.... Good thing I have a way out of that situation.... I know exactly what I have to do... And I have everything I need to get it done....
This build has inspired me to get off my ass and re build my shop.
I freakin hate tax time. The man is taking 8k from me this year. Super frustrating, although I know many are getting it worse than me

every form of making a living has about the same level of pain-in-the-assness...all you're doing when you grow for a living is switch punching a clock for sitting around waiting for people to pay you....plus,everything that goes wrong is now your fault...so just like any other job...it looks glamorous from the outside but really isnt...

Is that poly tubing? John guest fitting work easier for that.

that is 3/8 id 1/2 od i think... i wanted something totally different.... 1/2 inch id

What Third.... Im a woman and dont do this kind of shit.... a who? Please....

Third is talking about using these slip fittings:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SQyKxbMFHs

the video is showing the guy making a fitting of copper tubing compared to the traditional way of making a joint by soldering it. The fittings are ideal for vinyl tubing, the stiffer tubing used in RO systems, pvc and copper. It's greatest advantage is that you can put it together and break it apart in minutes, allowing you to try different layouts without all the glueing and having to force nipples into tubing, etc. It's very "plug and play". I used it in my last grow. The fittings are a little expensive but the ease of use (and re-use) more than makes up for it. There are ways of connecting existing vinyl tubing to pvc if you're wedded to running the pvc out of the rez. I just screwed a slip fitting into my pump, attached my vinyl tubing and ran that to the tent, avoiding all the limitations of pvc.

I have 80 plants to water on 4 levels, I am running a 1/5 horsepower sump pump. I was hopeing I wouldn't need the valves but no such luck. I can't wait to get it all dialed in, and start multi feeds. I only have 3 weeks left on this round. Next round should be able to to pump out some more weight. I am guestimating 8 pounds this round. I have some low yielding plants this round. Next round is all big yeilders mendobreath, black triangle, terpenado. Hopefully it will be a 10 pound haul. That should put me close to my 20 pound goal for fall/winter, with 2 seed runs. I am running some headbangers, black lime reserve, and sour grapes from seed in my small room.

True true... I just need a little supplemental income.... Single mom and all I have to have insurance..... Will always have a job.... I also have diving and animals.... So I can use a little extra on the side.... At least my boss wouldn't be a dick and take hours off the clock to round out payday.... Is what it is...

its the internet....its pretty much been like this since i started here...actually its gotten better since they boot the trolls pretty quick...you should see the mountain bike forums, this is mild in comparison to many forums being mostly middle aged schlubby dudes with nothing better to do on friday night...opinionated but rarely hostile...
