Thing is Mr Nevermind, my monthly drug habit is about £20 at the most. I just haven't smoked that much recently due to exams. I'm planning on staying on a nice level where I don't spend too much but enjoy myself from now on.

So I still don't think thats the issue either. Its really the love of growing something and tasting what I've grown that is at stake:

The fun of planning and building a grow room.
The excitement of finally cutting the ribbon on your growing room and firing up those lights.
Seeing your plants grow and change shape into something of beauty and aroma.
Smoking what you've just grown and being on top of the world, knowing that something you have nurtured from seed could have such amazing and different properties.

Thats what it means to me, not a drug habit.

I hate reading things like this so often. At the same time, it's always a big reminder on how I take for granted the luxury I have of having my GF helping with my projects and participating in the sucessful results. I really can't complain about life.

Anyhow - at the same time I really like this post. That's exactly how I feel. I couldn't put it in any other better way man.
