I bought OGKB's cookies before his cut had a name, in February of 2012 there was only GSC and Animal cookies for sale in the bay and names like Forum cut and OGKB had not been given to clones yet.

He told me where to go buy his cookies in the original GSC thread the day I landed in SF.
I got plenty of both and found the beans in his GSC.

At that time yesforprop215 was growing NewWave and calling it cookies and Abuja hadn't let the Forum cut loose.

OGKB told you it was OGKB and not GSC?. I read the OGKB clone was not named by him. Its not listed who named this. It wasn't his and he didn't know what it was?. That's the info I found when I tried to find info on the OGKB clone. Info changes drastically over time.

DF has more knowledge about all that cookie stuff than I and when OGKB was 1st introduced to the community. I got my OGKB cut in 2015. I know it was around years before I got it.


The OGKB strain caused a lot of confusion early on in the history of GSC,it was mistaken as the cookiefam’s thin mint cut when the name cookies was fresh on the scene. Not until the cut was properly photographed and documented in 2010 did it become apparent that this was not like the rest. It was given a new name based after the person who introduced cookies into the market, “OGKushbreath.” He maintains in online posts that his cut is “not from seed..” one can only assume he means it is not from the seeded batches of cookies that had first been released. OgKushbreath is the owner of The Cookie Company in San Jose.
Members of the crew have admitted that this cut is the most like their prized thin mint cut.

I know a guy who raves about it but personally i wasnt convinced...

Personally, I'm not 100% convinced that ANYONE ever got the actual, original cut from Cookie fam. I've seen so many people post it and never once has it looked the same as theirs.

The closest to their cut that I've seen would be the OGKB.

I think it was nothing but dishonesty that ever resulted in people claiming they had it - trade bait - just like the Fookies that went around right as the Forum cut was first being shared.

I actually agree with you.

I helped a nursery in Humboldt last year. The owner fucked over Sherbinski and got trays of clones nobody was supposed to get. Among those clones was Original Cookies. It far surpassed the Forum and Thin Mint cuts growing next to it in the hoophouses.

This also says a Lot about Berner’s integrity- that he only sells S1/S2’s of his lines, calls them the legit cut, and charges thousands all the while people I know charge nothing or ask for a few bucks since they paid workers to make those clones.

Also, Berner found bagseed in the kilos he got from Mendo and started his brand with those bagseeds.
Similar to JJ and topdawg stealing Chem lines and making a seed company using bagseed but charging crazy prices.

Anybody grown/smoked the line that created Cookies?

im not the biggest cookie fan (as i sit here smoking dosidos lol) but Animal is really good. definitely a keeper.

forum is nice but imo has turned into the new The White. every one breeds with it, and it consistently seems to breed dank.

Animal is my fav. Not to get any confused. Animal is gsc x fire og. I never used the Animal clone. . I used a fire og x gsc clone I got from CALCO(Endur). Same as animal but reversed pollen source. This is the mom I hit with Mac. She had nothing resembling cookies IMO. High yields of dank flowers.

OGkushBreath's GSC clone got the OGKB name after he passed it to NorCal. Happened in '12 not '10 here in the original cookie thread.

OGKB's Animal Cookies were about the same as the Forum cut, cookie flavor with a more functional daytime high, not the strength of his GSC later named after him.

Cement Shoes was a seed release from Cult Classics years ago... had OGKB and Blue Dream in it with some other stuff....

You can't tell what the real OGKB clone is anymore by the visuals, lots of OGKB phenos going around now, they pop out of my beans frequently.

The Blissful Wizard 32 clone is very close to the original.

The cross I made with M$B x Cbanana has the same structure but all have had intersex issues. I keep looking as space opens to test some.

Yeah, he came on here and tried to get the hype train rolling before it took off in the original cookie thread, a few months later and he's the first member here growing it, not just smoking it, and with pictures.:

His name mightn't have got attached if it wasn't for NorCal and the popular crosses he helped make and hype like the Dosis and Mendobreath...

Everybody was sitting around back then waiting on #Cookiefam to release seeds and it took them six years and their thin mint cut is the weakest cookie passed.

The real Money is in tee shirts tho and they got that locked.

Well at least I can say Ive been fortunate enough to get the 2.0 and forum. I love the forum, hate the low yield but the quality Trumps it for me.
