Its very easy to get a true strain of GSC to purple up. Cooling the room down in the 40s° while in dark cycle the last few weeks of flowering. If you go that low it will get very purple. I can make mine green with the little bit of purp. thats always in it, half and half or very purple all from air temp.. I can't see turning the AC on in dark to get that cool myself so living in Michigan my GSC is green in the Summer and purple in the winter. Those two pics are the exact same pheno (thin mint). I'll try to find a very purple pic..

As far as obtaining it you're best off finding a clone from a reputable source. BC bud depot has a seed version of GSC.

Yes. With some pheno searching very similar. It took 1st place hybrid 2013 LA Med. Cup. Witch started some chaos at that event. Story that I herd is Burner a Rapper and friend of the Real Original GSC creators, The Cookie Family. Supposedly Berner walked up to the guys that just won hybrid with a hog's leg of Real Girl Scout cookies, fired it up and handed to them and said here this is what real girl scout cookies tastes like...... The true 100% Cookie Family GSC has never been entered in any contest by the creators TCF. TCF has been rock'n out some more legendary strains. Like Cheery Pie, Sunset Sherbert, Pink Pez, Birthday Cake, Pink Panties so on (not sure about all of them). All very hard next to virtually impossible to obtain original clone only versions of....Anyways I have tried BCBD GSC and it was very good.

Real purple turns purple no matter what your temperatures are. If you have to freeze your plant to get it to purp up, you're not growing purp.

yeah man, you got the story kinda twisted. you can find it on youtube, it wasnt burner, it was one of his folks tho, and went down a lil different. Also BCBD GSC is not the real deal, most likely not even the same genetics. They didnt have a cut when they first started selling there seeds, They stole pictures off people from the forums to advertise, and made false claims. That company is big on advertisement but not on ethics or standards. Google is your friend!

Sounds like you misread. Because gsc doesn't require a temp change to fade purple. It's a real purple strain in terms of genetics.




P.s. Side note, am I the only one who refers to purple by taste and smell,and not so much color? And by smell I mean like the true SR71 or gdp and not this new kens bs. I mean the one before that the sweet one.

Must be BCBD paid Life is Good to enter there GSC as BCBD genetics.lol If all these result from 2013 hybrid are wrong (witch you seems to know they are). Why haven't any of them been changed. Maybe you should get in contact with the Canna Cup personnel and tell them they got it wrong. Because YOUR sure Life is Good lied on there entry form.lmfao

Why would he need to look into crosses? He didn't ask witch GSC crosses is dark purple. Why would you steer him to crosses when GSC its self can be forced into dark purple? That really makes no sense.

I have to add this I'm in no way saying I know positively what strain was entered. Only life is good knows the answer to that. If BC bud Depot is as shady as people are saying. Then it's very possible that they paid life is good to lie about their genetics. BCBD would have a lot to gain by doing something like that. I also want it known that I'm not pimping or defending BC bud depot in any way whatsoever. Me and my partners buy seeds from everywhere and I can honestly say we have not had bad experience ourselves. I actually grew BC's version of Girl Scout cookies and it was damn good. Keep in mind that was a one pheno out of 12 seeds the rest were fair at best. We kicked it down the trail long ago but a couple guys that got clones of it are still growing it today. I finally got the clone only thin mint cut now. Wonderful!

Regardless what you or anyone calls a purple. He didn't ask whitch GSC Taste's or smells purple. HE ASKED ABOUT COLOR and color alone. Your also really contradicting yourself.
