Yes, certainly... we wouldn't want any homosexuals hanging out in the cookie thread. Anti-homosexual rhetoric is always necessary.

There'd be no Prop 215 in California without the gays, you know that right?

Its a shame mods have to waste their time with long time members that def know better. Its like having a part of your family that knows you work hard but doesnt do anything to help out, just make your job tougher.

Here is the fake cookies we had down in SD. This could possibly be what ottoman has, it smells like actual cookies, one could definitely say gingerbread cookies.

Smoketrees, does that cut smell like unmistakeable hostess blueberry muffins early in flower? Not a little like blueberry muffins, exactly like them.... It's not a smell you could really confuse with others imho it is very distinct....

SmokeTrees, Although the nug structure looks different from the imploding dense look that the Forum cut seems to show characteristic of, those long red petioles sure do look consistant with the GSC.

I agree!

Would actually prefer SmokeTrees "FAKE GSC" to icmag's GSC cut...

I need me some weight.....

Yea If the OGKB cut produces consistant flowers with the OGKB cut, but with a larger yield, count me in! I dont plan on getting rid of the forum cut, but damn as tight her calyxes grow, her buds sure are tiny if your growing anything other than head stash.

LOL to whom ever negative repped me. I'd much prefer you PM me why you disagree with my subjective opinion. I really strive to be as helpful as possible to those looking for information. Being on the East Coast, i know how difficult it can be to really gather helpful information when your not surrounded by west coast growing culture. So many people ask for information regarding the cuts, pictures, characteristics, and identification, yet when anyone chimes in with relevant, helpful and well-intended posts, the negative rep pours in for no reason other than ill will unless it was a mistake, which I do admit, has happened to me before to others by mistake.
cheers and goodvibes, rather than burn bridges, I'd recommend being friendly. No one likes to share with people that are not respectful, and sharing is exactly how anyone with the cut could have a valid opinion/experience through growing her, vs. judging something on hype/hate. Who ever you are, I'd buy you a beer for your malice, if it weren't for this being the internet.

yea CP throws pods sometimes indoors....when you pinch them no pollen is in there, but i have found random bagseeds in cherry pie before..

outdoors zero herm issues....Cherry Pie is actually a much better plant outdoors than indoors, the colors and smells are amazing just wish it yielded a bit more...

i got a couple herms on lower branches of cookies but it was because i literally burned the shit out of them, hot batch of foxfarms soil + 1000ppms + root aphids and i got a few s1. gonna pop those s1 to see if they herm as well under normal conditions we will get a better idea of its breeding value....which most would argue isnt good other than the big name factor that would sell seeds regardless....

^^ just to elaborate... a lot of really nice cuttings will do this (my ChemDD does it)... the reason for it... I believe... is the flip (it creates stress). Outdoors there is never a drastic change in photoperiod instead the seasons change and the photoperiod is gradually reduced, and this is why, when flowering some strains indoors that are sensitive to this they may throw sacks at the beginning of flower following a flip.

if picking balls and Nanners on these strains is a problem for a grower they could experiment with gradually reducing the light on time, beginning from anything between 18/6- 15/9 (depending on strain, space and grow technique) then incrementally reduce it once or twice every week until you are at 12/12... and for some crazy Sativas it may be beneficial to further reduce it incrementally to 13/11 or 10/14... to help ripen and keep down foxtailing.

just my 2cents...
Peace,
Infi

you know i cant really say. I flowered that cut 4 different times, but i dont think i ever tried to smell her in early flower. I had already tried buds from this cut before i ever flowered her out, so i already had an idea of what her finished product/smell was like... If i hadnt tried it prior, i probably would have been finger fucking the buds early on to see what sort of smells she had. So unfortunately i cant say if it ever smelled like blueberry muffins in early flower. I could see how this plant could smell like that then transform to that gingerbread cookie smell, but i cant say i have smelled it myself.
The person this 'fake' cut originates from, spread it under the impression it was the real deal cookies. I guess he even got threats over letting it out... Kind of funny/ironic after all the headaches/trouble there was for this cut, it ended up not even being cookies.

One thing though, this 'fake'/mislabeled cut would almost be better named cookies than the actual girl scout cookies... If you were to give samples of each to someone who has never had cookies, and asked them which is the strain cookies, they would probably 99times out of 100 say the fake/new wave/ whatever is the cookies

ya it definitely has characteristics that would make one possibly think they have the same cut... There is definitely a purple that comes out naturally on the stems. It has a very GDP/urkle look to its leave structure. Whatever it is, it looks and smells insane, but the smoke is less than impressive
