The finished product of this cut is nowhere near grapey or hazey at all... It looks and smells very different from New-Wave samples. Blueberry muffins smells also don't show up in New-wave, multiple people get it every time with this cut in early flowering, whether hydro, soil or coco.

From the get-go, I have been open about this cut being different than the 'ICMAG cut'. I don't see why people are still thinking I'm trying to say or prove? they are the same thing? That completely misses the point..

There is supposedly a Durban Pheno of Cherry Pie floating around. This is definitely heavy on the durban side! The ICMAG cut is well documented on this thread, but there are claims that there are [South Florida OG x Durban F1]'s going around as well as [Cherry Pie x Platinium OG] - most with the ICMAG cut aren't even sure which of the genetics it is.

So logically, if there is only one expression ever created from original GSC beans - who is the one in the know that can confirm only 1 seed of GSC was ever made, which is the only way to ensure only 1 pheno could ever show up? I just don't understand the claim that multiple GSC cookies pheno expressions is an impossibility - is the belief that after the ICMAG cut was grown from seed - someone destroyed the rest of the beans to preserve it's immortal legacy or something? Just doesn't sound reasonable. Again, that doesn't show what this cut is either way- but the Florida OG x Durban is very similar genetically to Cherry Pie x Plat OG.

New wave ain't bad if it don't herm on u.... Smokin some now it's like a grapey haze big buds purp tint like cookies but I don't know how ppl could mistake it for cookies.... I for one love to smoke cookies but fuck growin it guys get the bds and gcs back I'm missin da fukin commercial purps .... No matter where ya at 2lbs of bd is worth more the 1 of cooks ....

New wave smells like grape gasoline to me. I got what looks to be just over a lb from under a 600w.

different pheno = different strain with roughly the same genetic make-up

different parents = different offspring.... ie: I look nothing like any of my cousins although our parents are the offspring of the same set of grandparents.

chem D is a different strain than chem 4 or chem 91 yet they are all closely related and are very different from each other.

thats all anyone is trying to say bro....sure it could be the cookies sister....but chances are that all other plants produced in the seed run that the GSC was found in were culled when the superior phenotype was selected for its specific qualities

Here is my outdoor GSC....I don't get all day sunlight but I this strain is definately the best "optics" of any strain I am running atm....I just love the way it is setting up!

You might wanna check your girls for powdery mildew it sure looks like I see some in the picture you posted.

You could always leave it alone and call it powder cookies though.....

If that is the case you may want to check out JMS Stylet Oil. It's an organic Anti-Powdery Mildew and Anti-Spider mite solution made from Grass seed.

It needs reapplication every 2 weeks, but it will completely remove any PM in flowering safely. You can spray up to the day before harvesting - they use it on lots of fruits and vegetables. It's a great 2nd line of defense if you ever get hit with those in flowering - a safe way to harvest your crop without the PM =)

My thoughts exactly. I havent seen her stack nearly that well in my garden, but thats also because the rest of the girls in my cabinet dictated the flip, even though the GSC was still revegging.

True that, it's outdoor so it very well could be left over residual from preventative treatments.

That might also be why his appears to be producing a cola as well, has anyone posted any outdoor GSC? To see if it stacks better outdoors under the sun?

Just want to say that I never claimed to be a GSC expert or even claimed to have the real deal cut...I simply came on showing what I had given to me as GSC during my first run with the cut, and they fact the smell and taste are simialr i thought it may be relavent. It doesn't bother me in the slightest that what i got isn't the IC GSC, I have plenty of other strains that I love to run and smoke, I consider myself to be an extremely lucky person in that respect and stay humble about it. On the plus side I got a nice harvest going with the cut and will do another, if I don't like it it gets kicked to the curb if its good then it stays. All I am saying is that I'd love to see some pics of the other GSC cut but so far no one has produced any yet, does this validate the cut I am growing? absoluetly not, it be nice to see and compare thats all. As far as selling buds for a higher price let me say this I was describing the different markets coast to coast and I said it was sad that your guys GSC sells for less than what I can get for a lb of just some basic blueberry or whatever, fustrating for west coasters and something most east coasters take for granted. I won't pollute the thread with any more pics or thoughts...happy growing all.

Alright People hold your pussies...... im gonna try to post some pix tonight or Tom. It just sucks because There's been TONS of pictures posted by just by me comparing both cuts in DETAIL and in all sorts of stages of growth. That doesnt even count the people with the forum cut and them posting their pix. Don't get me wrong I have no prob with posting pix etc trying to help people out in identifying their cuts. Especially the good ol folks here on ICmag.

What I do have a problem with is me posting pix followed by 10 pages of banter then To have people ask for more pix. There's tons of pix in this thread, unfortunately I can't even find them Because it's now 300+ pages and it'd take me forever to sort through every one.

And Otto theres no harm In what you did. Like I said I feel sorry for the people who get cuts thinking their something when their not. This is especially prevalent with the GSC. This strain has single-handedly fucked up the Cali clone scene. Its fucked up. You basically have Con men selling cuts at this point for $50/100/200 per FAKE clone!!! Shits ridiculous Hence the reason I post pix.

So I had a friend come over the other day. He doesn't puff as much as most of us, but he knows what's up.

So he brought some Tangerine Dream, and I had some GSC and SSH. We vaped his Tangerine first and it was tasty. Not a heavy buzz at all. Then we vaped the SSH, which was really nice and clear high and super tasty. Then we vaped the GSC. After a minute he looked around for a seat and said. "I need to sit down". The look on his face was like he was going to pass out. After that he was in a daze for a while. When he left he remarked about how heavy the GSC high was. That's why I mentioned that most of us prefer the Animal overall. He had to go into work to hook up a new server. I'll be curious to hear how that went
