My persective on this is that perhaps he is burned out and disallusioned with societies perspective of the american dream....i was there, working for big corporations, gettin degrees and certifications and anything that would get me ahead, until i hit a wall like krunch.... Depressed, jaded from corporate life I, like some on this board, decided to slow down and begin to simplify my life. got some acreage and a fixer upper house in the country, and started over. changed my perspective of what the american dream is to me and worked ondeveloping my vision of that. 7 years later, after dropping off the map, i could not feel more content. make beer, whiskey, salsa, fish and hunt, small 16k grow, have redneck friends that like doing projects, can everything, and still have plenty of time to make money....but my way this time
