I'm guessing some don't want to side with poor farmers (who just need to eat and can't eat money).
I'm also guessing those same individuals would think that corporations (beholden to shareholders and rarely morals or ethics) who lie to profit tell better "truths".
Whatever helps you sleep at night.

"Feeding the World" is nothing more than a slogan. Nobody is ever going to feed the world...nor even try to. That's illusion and a selling point...a justification to manipulate markets, technologies, and politics. The people who starve...starve because they are of little value...they have no money to consume with. Whether that be from war or natural disaster...makes little difference.

GMO has been happening since the dawn of time.....By nature. Genetically modifying things is our attempt at replicating nature....Which is the basis for all of modern medicine. Genetically modifying things has applications in almost every industry and isn't going away anytime soon Lmao.

I do this shit for a living and there is absolutely NO studies or proof what so ever that GMO's are bad...NONE!!! Why???? because taking a fn gene we found in a bacteria and putting it food DOESN"T cause cancer, it didn't in the first place and it doesn't when we combine it with fn corn lol.
