....an then the gold pheno nevil had which looked similar to leets..now that was one of the best top 3 smokes ive ever had...it would crush people an leave them a serious mess...some so much so they wouldn't smoke again..
My original 5hzC looked a lot like the NH leet posted on MNS but that one didn't look golden to me is that the one you mean? Why is it called golden?

All of Nevil's posts about his grail project goals and why he wanted to add new blood to haze were all posted at Mrnice but since the server and site up grade lots are now missing.

To find things you now need to google and hope to find links and then use couched lets hope shanti fixes things as a lot of valuable info is now gone.

Hi Hempy,
I just noticed that the other day when I was trying to find Leet's old NH thread. Nevil really liked that thread.I Hope so too. Hopefully it's a temporary glitch.

The best phenos coming out of the 97nh were mostly the gold paler type wich are more hazeA leaning....I believe that 97nh leet managed to get going was a hazeA leaner....
I dont think this just happens with old seed connected to just hazeC ...I believe it happens with many types from wat ive seen...

Hi Darkstorm,

Nevil thought Leets was more Haze C leaning, we actually discussed leets NH thread quite a bit, it was our best point of reference, Nevil even sent me links to that thread. He thought it was reminiscent of some of his best 5hzC.
Of any plant I've seen outside my own stock, nothing I have ever seen reminded me of my original cut more than Leets NH. Mine had bigger Crystals and slightly wider leaf, and much darker green. Leets had that olive color, same color of my best Grail female, and same color of my favorite current 5hz female cut.

But it's interesting about the gold phenos, what you are saying, because I don't get those in my lines. Please elaborate on these gold phenos, I believe those gold phenos are from the Columbian side, but not sure.

I am very interested now, because when I crossed my favorite 5hz hybrid female into the Grail male and grew out the offspring they are predominantly of the gold pheno.

I noticed alot of it went missing before the site update hempy...for some of nevils posts you have to use his words people have quoted or used to reply to in ther posts....I noticed alot started going missing roughly 6 months ago....he left a lot of cryptic hints an clues to alot of things if understood properly...

Try and get a picture under natural light hazenacious...in my opinion that gold is throwing back into the origin of haze...wich I believe was one of the the things nevil was attempting to do...he wanted to recrate the beginnings of the haze line...aka haze stage 1....thers afew of us that think that wat ever made the mullum may indeed at some point in the beginning have shared a parent or come from the same family to make wat il call the earliest primal haze....yes the haze tastes seem to be a combination of lumbo an south east asian...but the only thing that has given a similar but more aggressive affects is the old lowland thai I know....ive not tried hempys thai yet but it too from wat he has told me seems to be from a similar old thai line...if your managing to get those gold types I think thats realy good as there usually very very aggressive an can rip most peoples head off.

This is nevil on wat one of his goals wer..an how he was trying to get as close to Fh an hazeA as they seemed to be closest in order to stage 1 or the beginnings of the primal haze.

nevil" what ever the legend behind the seeds that I got from Sam, It is my belief that the qualities in the Original Haze that we admire so much, come from Thai. I grew up in Western Australia and started smoking in the early 70's. Most of the Australian cannabis was descended from Thai and was grown in Queensland. Perth is as close to Thailand as it is to Queensland and W.A. got more than it's fair share of Imported Thai. I remember one batch was unparalleled and Haze A male's best progeny, reminded me of it. The guy was selling ounces of it for $30, but he had bags of what I now realise was loose resin, for $60. I wish that I had bought it.
Hence my desire to scour Australia for the best descendants of the old Thai imports to put back to the Haze
Northern Lights 5 crossed with Haze male C. Is the best Indica / Sativa hybrid that I've ever done. HzA male to NL5 was also excellent and was the mother of N.H. The HzC was a complex sweet aroma, while HzA produced plants with a leathery smell, more reminisent of the old Thai's.
Complex liver/ leather smell is what I'm looking for in a good Thai descenant to cross with the Haze.

Hi Darkstorm,
Thanks for the response, and the quote from Nevil. The potency is off the charts, strongest stuff since my original cut, more debilitating, less trippy, but not so much to my preference as for daily smoke, but great for an occasional smoke, very strong, totally non functional. It has a rich smell, like it's mom, which reminds me of buttered toast and jam, but this cut has underlying smell like cedar and incense added and is very complex and multi layered. not sweet on the exhale, tastes like cedar and hash. The smoke is deceptively smooth, after it expands you can't hold it in, thick blue smoke.
Here is a shot of a later maturing sibling that is actually still curing in the jar, haven't had a chance to try.
