Was nice seeing a few ICer's there. I only ran thru early. Was gifted a nice Hammer Kush thank's brother.
Any how I need to vent SO...

The both with all the clones Eternal Cultivars was on the sign, not sure if thats who they were or if that's just because they had their seeds.
Well the boyz grabbed purple punch (jungle boyz cut) Zittlez, and 4G from them. I never looked at the clones but told them to just add soil water, spray with mite/mildew and leave in veg room. I will be by in morning to look at them.
Well I get there, I look at them they are all laying flat..WTF I removed them ripped open rapid rooters.. These are unrooted, not only that but they are fresh cuts thrown in rooters and no hormone can be seen. Really That's fokked up. At a minimum if you are going to sell unrooted cuts you have to give 2 or 3.

On a positive note Chunky's and OG's clones were kickazz condition.

@Si i was right next to plymouth county for a good while the rain had me relocated inbetween og and cp. Root click had zkittles- jilly bean,4g, strawberry banana, ringos gift and lemon kush all were unrooted but was given atleast 4 of each inside a tray in dome. Haven't moved them to my easy cloner yet and they still look great. Was given mom's of cookie pebbles and buku. Half a zip of moonrocks and quarter of cookie pebbles. Was some trading going on there towards the end with vendors.

Finally got ecsd from chunky thanks brother and blue dream and hammer kush from Og.

And a bunch of seeds think og entire lineup almost and some chunky gear. I'm content with turnout and results could've been better yea. Auction was better ran this time but starting prices where higher than seedbanks.

Oh so it was Root click that was selling the unrooted cuts? Getting 3 or more is 1 thing but to sell my kids 3 single cuts for a C note is BS. They fokked with the wrong Guy I will be setting the boyz up at a table at next event and I will root 1000's of clones. I'm thinking 30 a pop should rain on their parade.

The $20 paid at the door to the promoter should guarantee quality. Call him up and tell him you got ripped by one of his vendors. I met him in Wakefield RI and he seemed like a stand up guy. He should get the vendor to make it right or they get banned and blacklisted. If Gene Traders gets a bad reputation on this forum, he's screwed.

I have no prob with genetraders, they do a great job setting up everything. I do feel that cuts shouldn't be sold only rooted clones. Experienced growers would have a hard time getting a single cut that has been out for a day or 2 to root. Newbies like 75 % of the people there have just about zero chance.

I am just writing the C note off as a learning experience to my kids. They now know trust no1 and never buy a clone unless it has roots showing. They will learn.

To someone like me with no dog in the game, if the guy is a regular vendor, he’s got nothing to gain from an unhappy customer. Return business is key when building a brand. Unless he’s shady, it sounds like a miscommunication or omission on his part by not saying they were unroofed. He’d probably make it right to save a customer, any decent seller would

I'm not doubting miscommunication as my boys are new to this, but who sells a single unrooted cut for 35 to 40. Now 3 or so fresh cuts I can see, I wouldn't do it but I can understand it.

If they were next to og selling moonrocks and shirts than yea that's who i received the cuts from. What i learned was alot of thoes outfits are together like root camp and lou put the show on but the led camp is also rc. I 2nd that no unrooted clones should be sold gifted is acceptable.

The part I don't get is why they bought clones to begin with and why they don't listen to me. I clearly told them if you are going to get any clone get them from Chunky...but really we don't need any.
I have access to just about any clone I want for free, I just don't have any room for more mom's. ugh kids

Marmarb, It was good to see you and I enjoyed the time visiting. I might take it a step further. A clone is a rooted copy of the mother and a cut is no roots. Selling a cut as a clone, to me, is misrepresenting it and pretty shady. I think Lou would want to know.

If they were selling unrooted cuts they should have had them standing in containers of water. Then they could have had paper towels and plastic wrap for the customer to take them home. I have had cuts standing in fresh water for many days and they rooted just as fast as a fresh cut. In fact soaking in water with some roots solution makes them better.

You should have cut the ends and put them in water for a day AmericanGrower. You still could probably help that cut by doing so.

I would have but it was laying flat, total mush when i got there in the morning and already tiny. The areocloner perked it up but I think its to weak to survive. Who even clones these tiny bottom plant cuts. I would be embarrassed to even give cuts like this away.

Zeez its was a pleasure like always. Want to take a minute and thank Og and chunky. Finally got around to transplanting some sd cuts from chunky ended up being 10 so thanks. And Og good looking out on the blue dream and hammer kush.

Yeah, i sensed some shadiness from a few tables/booths or didn't know much about any of the people and what they had so Overgrow and Chunky were my go to's and i'm glad i stuck to my gut and spent my money wisely. I got every clone OG had which is awesome because i got a bunch of stuff i wanted from him, though i got there too late to grab the cuts from Chunky i wanted. But i told my friend who wanted seeds, to get some from OG and Chunky which he did because there prices were good and i know he can expect good quality. I wish i had more money because i would of bought some seeds from them for myself but there is always next time.

And OG wasn't lying about the stage of the "clones", they were already plants by the time i got them at the event. They really were almost rootbound in the solo cups and were ready to be transplanted. I just held my fingers around the stem, held the cup upside down, tapped the bottom of the cup and they came right out and then i transplanted them into 1 gallon containers using FF Bushdoctor Coco Loco (All i could grab in a pinch but the ingredient list seems ok) and about 35% chunky perlite and they are doing good so far in my tent. It was nice to get pest free, beyond-rooted plants for a good price, rather than clones that were unrooted or barely rooted for around double the price.

BTW, random question but my friend got a clone from some booth, but i don't know what there name was or who they were because i wasn't with him at the time. Anyways, the solo cup said "Sour Lemon Kush" on it and i think he said it was $20.

Anyone know who he might of got it from? He asked me but i have no idea. I've never heard of the strain. Sounds like the name of a bunch of strains put together, which is common in the industry but i couldn't really find anything about it or it's lineage.

I met your kids at Ludlow. Real good kids. You did good. I'm sure they were going for it to make you happy. I hear stories from my son about kids that hate their parents and wouldn't do anything for them. I'd say your hard work paid off and give 'em a pass on this one. :tiphat:

They are good kids. Like I said they learned something from it. I can bet they will never get another clone without it being a plant or seeing the roots. Now if only I can get them to do more work in the garden.

Same problem, but he definitely enjoys the fringe benefits.
