Gender dysphoria and the trans movement.

This from the Lancet puts it best;
Puberty blockers are falsely claimed to cause infertility and to be irreversible, despite no substantiated evidence. The dominance of the infertility narrative, usually focused on child-bearing ability, perhaps reveals more about conservatives' commitment to women's role as child-bearers. Puberty blockers are framed as pushing children into taking hormones, whereas the time they provide allows for conversations with health providers and parents on different options. Gender transition involves many decisions over a long time, and those who take hormones do so because they are trans. Contrary to claims of a new phenomenon, trans youth have always existed; historians show they have sought trans medicine since it became possible: the 1930s in the USA.

If we block LH in the brain to achieve the desired result, how can a person remain fertile when the body isn’t producing endogenous testosterone or estrogen ?

The answer is, you can’t. It may not happen overnight, but eventually, it will. The pathway is shutdown and eventually the glands atrophy.

Once that happens, if the body remains in that state, there is no guarantee you can regain function after that. In these cases, the body will have to stay in that state in order to keep your sex hormones suppressed.

Now, if you think that is not dangerous, just look at the bodybuilding community and look what happens to people who chronically abuse steroids. Then ask yourself, why are we letting kids do this?

Yep, they’re doing the same thing. It’s an attemp to use drugs to change body morphology in an unnatural way.

The long term users are never normal when they stop. Many need lifetime replacement because their bodies don’t make enough anymore. Or they just have to suffer. It’s not a hot topic to talk about but it’s a reality.

I wish some of these guys that advocate for “freedom”would take all this intellect they claim they have and actually read about this stuff. It causes so many other health issues in addition to the obvious ones. What a disservice we are doing for our youth

If I study something I'll read about 20 peer reviewed papers and draw conclusions, so no, nothing like that on this subject. I have read several articles. There seems more evidence of positive impacts, although a few I've read speak of negatives.
Forget about it Chi. Eastojoe is so highly educated on the subject, just the other day he was able to describe right down to the synaptic cleft and sodium - potassium spike action potential how those drugs act within the endocrine system all in his own words, even including enkephalin. There is just no point.

So I’m wrong ? Please go on then and explain how it’s safe to shut down hormonal pathways of developing kids 🍿

At no point in my gun safety class were we told not to shoot ourselves in the face. It was understood by everyone. Kind of like not letting your son cut his dick off.

Ah, it’s going to crumble into the pile of shit it is….

I almost feel sorry…. These folks have been trying to use government power to shove ideas down peoples throat. Now that they’re losing that government force, it may get ugly.
