The link didn’t claim fully functional genitalia from both sexes that produce both gamete types.
as other have pointed out, thats because these are in sexually immature mammalian where infants cant reproduce at birth
if allowed to grow through puberty? would they have both ovaries and testes
would they be viable? what fits where?

No human has ever been born with both sexual organs fully functional. If so people could reproduce asexually.
ummm...maybe you need to re-read the definition of "asexual reproduction". pretty sure you were thinking that they could produce offspring by having intercourse with themselves, which would be awkward at best and probably physically impossible. that is NOT "asexual reproduction".

This whole discussion is an exercise in weaponizing arrogance and ignorance.
Libraries are being shut down in the US because of bad faith recitations of these strongly-worded opinions masquerading as fact. People are being hurt.
Maybe it makes these pearl-clutchers feel powerful being part of a moral panic. The cruelty is the point.

Book battles are raging nationwide. A WA library could be nation's first to close

DAYTON, COLUMBIA COUNTY — Book battles are raging across the nation, but none have carried the kind of stakes as the one here in Dayton, a one-stoplight farming community in the southeastern corner of Washington.

For the county’s only library, the battle has turned, quite literally, existential: Voters will decide in November whether to shut it down.

The library, which has occupied the same modest brick building a block off Main Street for 86 years, is at risk not because of a lack of funding or a lack of demand for its services. Instead, it could shutter because of a yearlong dispute over the placement of, at first, one book, then a dozen and now well over 100, all dealing with gender, sexuality or race.

It would be the first library in the country to close because of a dispute over what books are on the shelves, according to the American Library Association.

“That is the end of the library as we know it,” said Jay Ball, who owns a local auto shop and chairs the library’s board of directors. “It’s insane, it’s just insane.”

Library opponents late last month submitted enough signatures to get on the November ballot with their argument that the library makes books dealing with transgender issues, sexuality, consent, race and gender stereotypes too accessible to kids.

Its a great article but i disagree that theres no lack of demand. Libraries were on their way out long before the current political climate. Everything can be bought downloaded or read online by the younger generations, especially at schools and universities, and the older adults like me that enjoy them are becoming fewer by the day. Dont get me wrong I think this book ban crap is pointless but i would be very surprised to see a standing library in 20 years, atleast outside DC. Technology's eating everything up and shitting it out

If you would but go to a library, you would see how wrong you are. There is far more demand for library services and resources than there is supply.
Libraries provide a truly free safe place to take the kids. Nothing else exists that's comparable.
Attacks on libraries are (among other things) attacks on poor families.
Seriously, go to a library. Talk to the people there. Then see whether you still think as you do now.

lol I go to the library fairly often. In my hometown the learning center in the back is being used as storage now and they don't even host book club meet ups anymore. And I know the media likes using these childrens reading hours as political fodder but those aren't near as popular as they used to be. I dont even remember them being that popular when i was growing up in the 90's. And you're right poor folks have the most to lose from it as well as people like me who like a quiet place to read without being pestered. Its not the way i want things but theres the way it should be and theres the way it is. The convenience of getting everything online will consume most businesses in the coming years

Sounds like Texas libraries suck.

Around here, libraries have all types of interesting stuff available. Not just books.

Like you said, everything can be bought, downloaded, or read online. That's why libraries offer access to that digital content for free.

a lot of these places have become a haven for the drug addled and homeless
that was happening here. a serious lack of public toilet options downtown, and some businesses refused to allow folks off of the street to use facilities there. i have made it a point not to do business at places like that, myself. i don't always look too "prosperous" myself when i'm out (ratty blue jeans, shirts with holes burnt in them (LOL!) so i get a pretty good read on their attitudes.

It's possible that he has realized he started a snowball effect that ended jobs for many families and decided that enough is enough.

He's possibly planning for a peaceful resolution by way of acknowledging that Bud Light is just a beer and won't force you to crossdress.

But from what I've seen, it's more likely that he's dumber than fuck and wouldn't have a clue what the Bud Light you were asking about had to do with his next promotion.

"When it comes to queer beers, I don't drink em duh uh I just shoot em".... "Uh... cause they're all gay and derp"

It's pretty ironic that Bud Light was king of the stadium and raceway then gets dropped like a hot potato because of one almost famous redneck's violent reaction to his transphobia.

He single handedly stripped the company that fed rednecks beer for a century of their pride and profession by simple minded hatred.

If hate is cool this country just got to John Coltrane status.
