Damn P' all i can say is that im speachless. You are a hardworker and you inspire many growers around the world. I hope you enjoy every milligram of your harvest bro, you deserve it. Hopefully one of those pics will be on the cover of some magazine.
TML16..Well I did notice as soon as the other 2 AD's were smokable..the herm is a little harsher..but it tastes good..
BD's are a 60 day flower..
GCG..thanks silver bullet man..I can't believe I can even compete..I'm using a old 1999 Olympus fixed lens..light and color is where I get creative..
I mix different light sources from different angles..then flash the pic..but I hold a white paper towel in front of the flash to diffuse the light..
so it doesn't over expose the pic being that close..but results in good color..a ghetto macro-flash..focus, shutter and fstop I set manually..
most of my pics are at 2.8f and less than 1/60 sec shutter speeds..
pontiac..Well man your grow inspired me as well..In fact I'm sure you hauled more per plant than I did..
this haul I think I got less from the 3 AD's than I got from 1 BD last grow..that goes with the probs in veg and when I flipped um..
the AD's had big kola's but only mediocre secondary buds..but thanks for the words man.. :friends:
Sleepy..gotta keep the bush happy..
Good news, all 4 of the new BD's are up..Bad news, I knocked over the container and creased one stem..I made a splint with a straw to hold it up..
I also made another blunder..I put the older BD's outside for a bit, while I re-arranged the veg area..to my horror in no time at all they had wilted down bad..
I got um back inside and watered um(soil got dry as hell and hot)..They went right back to nice form like nothing happened in less than an hour..
1 plant has a permanently damaged finger on 3 different leaves..and it's showing 2 female preflowers..I think the other will be female too..
Well the Cindys are really coming around..except CW2..it's completely worthless..I don't even let it make a shadow on the other plants..
It's tucked in the corner..I'm just hoping for a usable trich count to B-bag her..
The others are filling in without branch growth..I definitely picked the right one to seed as well..I'm excited about growing the offspring..
Pics when I get a chance..
Hiya packn!
Creased stem - no problemo boyo - I call it early supercropping That's something I really like about your approach - you pay attention and catch stuff early - catching early = chance for early recovery.
CW2 - only bubble bags for you! I'll be interested in eventually seeing the offspring of the other CW too!
you havent posted in a while Pack, just checking in on ya mate. Hope all is well with ya, let us all know things are ok and yer just kicking back for a while will ya. I'm hoping work has just been busy or something.
Hey everybody..I'm back..well by a thread anyways..the gardeners cut my cable a few weeks ago..which started a ugly ball rollin..
This is the 4th time that I know of they have done this..now the cable company wants the association to install underground conduit, before they fix it again..but that's not being done..
Being in the middle of this..I finally went out there and repaired my cable..with my own supplies..no TV, was bugging me even more than no Internet..
They dug up all the cables..we now have 9 cables where only 4 should be..and it's all running on top of the grass..so I could lose it again soon..
plus they will disconnect for at least a day when they eventually sort this all out..
So I'm back up by the grace of screw-on connectors for now..
Sannie..Thanks for stoppin in man..sorry this post is kinda delayed..I've been studying the roots since I started using beneficial bacs & fungs..instead of lots of small roots..I get fat hairy bright white roots..
also found re-potting more challenging, the soil stays softer and loose..
Docleaf..Yeah it's still here for now..just me haven't been here..pics soon
MGJ..Hey man..what's up..Yeah that creased stem looked doomed..I took a soda straw..made a slit down the side and wrapped the stem..then put toothpicks in the straw to splint it a little better..worked like a champ she's alive and well..
pontiac..I'll have to go and check out what you are up to these days..I'm alive and well..thanks man..
GMT..Thanks man..and yeah I'm also starting my new career off Saturday..I made it through the tests and interviews and have been accepted..
GCG..No worries..but thanks for the post..Sparky gets to make new sparks soon..
I guess I'll do a full update with pics..but I need to go take some pics..but here's where I'm at..
3 - Cindy Williams..at 88 days flower..root-bound..and really still not finished..The secondary buds look better than the kolas..CW5 is a monster and drinks it's pot dry in 1 day..I need the room soon so they are gonna be done..like it or not in a week..These plants are being very sativa..
2 - BubbleDust..I think they are about 5 weeks veg..1 Day in flower..these two took some sun damage when I put them outside for a bit..at first the damage seemed minimal..but on one plant it killed 5 or 6 shoots..the other plant did fair OK, so I took 4 clones from her..
4 - BD clones as mentioned..1 showed a root so I potted all 4..I think 3 should make it..but maybe all 4..I'm using some AN Jump Start this time..
3 - AD clones..I don't think they are even alive..too many problems with wrong nute mix used to reveg strength..
I don't think they are going to revive just a science experiment now..they have leaves that are nearly black they are so dark..
if they grow it's only a mm a week or my imagination..
The curing AD buds have already smoothed out pretty good..seems more potent then the BD was..and more flavorful..
The AN 2+ nute system is working like a champ..no nute problems to report..
The BD's just going into flower will be the first to get Bud Blood & Big Bud..
I cropped them pretty regular..should be better secondary buds this round..both are single kola..
Like I was saying above..the roots are most impressive..instead of a mass of small roots..they have big fat hairy roots..look almost polished white..
The leaves are a lush dark green..
Phew, Pack, I was worried some fall out from previous probs may have caught up with you.
Congrats on getting through the obsticles. Although I thought you had started already. Wierd day to start a new job, on a saturday, but I hope it goes smoothly for ya.
DocLeaf..The AD does have that fuely smell tastes real nice in spliff form..sedating buzz too..
GMT..Well sort of..I became eligible to work in this field..but for what I have chosen to do requires specialized training for advancement..
I just got approved for enrollment to a structured program to efficiently advance while I work..that program is the key..without it several obstacles form..
so I didn't want to take on work not knowing if the other part was approved or not..I can't get into any more detail than that..
I have to start as a donkey so to speak..so I'm trying to minimize my donkey-time till it starts counting..which is now..Sat is orientation..
without approval my donkey-time would be too long for me to bare and not worth it.. a few donkey-positions have been offered to me for a few weeks..
now I just have to say yes when they offer..I wasn't obligated to take the offers..but soon I will be..
Glad to see you are good and healthy PN2P and welcome back.
Such a simple joy in life in a small insulated cable eh?
I got those screw-on connectors all over my house. Cables get cut/damaged. My old cat used to chew right through those.
Sure wouldn't mind seeing some BD's when you get a chance.
Awesome man, just get those cables permanently fixed asap; I understand you'll be on and off until that happens. Well anyways, hows your dwc setup comming along?
