Hey Dezy glad to see you crawled out of your hole you have been hiding in. I don't know guys , but I have been growing for a lot of years and maybe I am doing something wrong with Dezy's plants but they are lush and healthy as hell. I still say it's purp[le food coloring :wink: J/K bro, maybe you just have a purple thumb?

Hey PN2P I really haven't fed the BBW's that much. They haven't needed it. I try and let my plants tell me what they need. I wasn't listening to my MS's a couple of months back and almost starved those pour babies. I go with the less is more theory, I am not into trying to be a scientist like a lot of people. Mixing some of this then a little of that and then I might need a litttle more of this F*ck that. I generally feed my plants once a week , if your soil is good and you are using quality ferts I don't see a need to over do it.

Hey bro I just wanted to let you know you need to calibrate your PH pen a lot. I had just calibrated it in the beginnning of last week and I checked it this morning and it was off by 2 points. Then I couldn't get it adjusted low enough ? Piece of shit.

Now I know what has happened to my plants. My PH was around 5 to 5.5. Way too F8cking low. This is why i hate all of the technology. Let's go back to throwing a seed in the dirt and water it and let the mutha fukker grow. I hate it I hate it I hate it. To lazy to put the wallbash on right now.

I am going to flush my plants to hopefully neutralize the nute lockout.

Sorry garlic - yeah, I hear ya on the cal. Mine seems to hold for a month or so at a time, so that's my current schedule. You're catchin the problems early though, and recovering quickly. I still think you'll be in very good shape.

When we catch up let's chat about this, I'm starting to get some ideas of what's happening and how to deal with it.

That's the truth... all the tinkering toys mean more shit to break or go haywire. I hope they flush out and come round for ya bro. I have a Hanna pen that's been pretty good to me but I keep the probe tip in ph4 solution between uses. I cal every month or so and it's stays pretty good, not far off after a month. Is your runoff ph at 5 or your water going in?

I snapped some pics of my urkles... they are pretty big. Not very tall but stout as hell and bushy. I think they will produce a lot better than my last ones. I'll load the pic after I sneak the cam away from the ol lady. How are yours coming along?

PN2P I have the same red grotek PH meter, but it is about 6 years old now and won't calibrate anymore. That is why I bought the cheap piece of shit Hanna pen. How is the pen that you have is it reliable?

I can't wait to see some updated pics of your urkles. Mine are looking great. I have one that I am letting grow because I am going to try and flower it indoors before it gets too hot and another that I have started LST on that will gop outside in my GH this summer. They are some beauties.

ummm you all are just shiting about the kool aid- right ?.......if your not joking let me just say don't do it it will mess things up badly for you....i have no idea how to add color to ones plants, i'm not sure you even can "other then dropping the temp"......now if your trying to add taste you may want to try "pure extracts" use them in your final flush(s) and mix carefully because pure extracts are very strong/potent.........

Here they are a day or two before going in the flower room...

They are stout lil bushes. Those are 3.5 gal pots. It seems they only need just a little tying over to get the tops pretty even... I'm really diggin this plant a lot. I've got the cloner full of cuts to fill the room for the next round...should be lot's o fun

All I have is that meter for pH..the other is a Extech EC/TDS pen..both work good so far..
You can just get a new probe..there's a BNC like connector under the rubber..just twists right off..
Replacement pH Electrode [HI 1219] $42.95 or so for mine..half the price of a new meter..

ahhh hahaha ya i'm guilty of that my friend's, i tried the kool-aid thing did not work just started killing my plant big time...ummm no real harm done though seeing it was during the final flush(s)..but it was enough to prove TO ME that it does not work.......

ummm also tried the pure extract trick but again it was a total failur(sp) BUT it was my first shot with the extract and i know what went wrong with that little experement.....what i did wrong there was i just poured the whole freakin bottle over my soil and then watered really good, but remember i said that the pure extract was very consintraited and boy was it hahaha....i'm thinking if you were to use it in a small dose instead of a huge dose AND you ph your water the results may be diffrent........ummm now i'm not at all saying this will change the taste of ones buds but it may..........
