Looking killer

Appreciated a lot!

I just finished cloning my plants and noticed that two branches I cut, were trifoliate.
Only the last two nodes on the branches. Rest of the plant is normal.
It's something that I see first time up close. Interesting, hope they root so I can watch their progress.

My house temps are a little high though, can't be running AC 24/7 for the clones unfortunately. Oh well...

Beauties are growing really well, despite some mg issues I run into, due to LED I presume. Incorporated epsom salts in my feeding schedule.
I have also been suppercropping the plants that wanted to grow taller and I'm happy with my canopy management thus far.
Have not really put the effort before to keep them even. I try to be proactive with training to avoid stretch and reactive with feeding to avoid burn!

Some plants have produced some undifferentiated "preflowers", pointy and elongated but without pistil.
It's early still, I believe I have at least two weeks before they really start flowering, maybe more?

I've been trying a new lens, I believe the other one produced more vivid colors closer to real.
This is a zoom lens actually but wanted to give it a try. Damn I need a macro lens!

Here is an updated shot of the canopy, currently 13 days 11.5/12.5 (one month and one day exactly from popping out of soil surface):

I need to get another tent sooner rather than late, they are taking over!!!!

and a shot of an OTH growing shoot, it sure has captured my curiosity....

They still look good man! Don't worry too much.
Can you tell me how much epsom salt you use and how aften? I'll soon gonna start using it as well and I really have no ideea. I also added 2 table spoons of it to each gallon of soil before the grow.

Hey, nice to see you around. I add a tablespoon to ~1 gallon of water, by suggestions here and on the product label.
For foliar application label suggests 2-4 grams per liter of water.
It is very soluble, I don't know how well it holds up in the soil for Mg, especially if you water to runoff.

I gave them by foliar first time a week ago, followed by watering with epsom couple days later.

Still early to judge results although the plants affected seem happier now. I'll wait a couple waterings before deciding when to give them again.
Hope I was a little helpful.:)

Looks awesome.

The LED intensity can have an effect that looks like a deficiency because the plants can only take so much light in a 24 hour period. The way I manage the led is with a lux meter. For example in veg I use 24/0 light schedule @ 15000-18000lux which translates to DLI 25-30. If you use 16/8 light schedule than you can increase the intensity.

Yes I must get one, thought I could get away without it for now, but with the LED it seems like a must.
So with proper DLI these signs do not appear and it's just a matter of light intensity, not actual deficiency?

Highly likely bro. Light stress looks like a deficiency.
They're only cheap too like $30
:ying:

I was expecting to see light stress signs on top leaves first, as these are at the bottom, raised the light a little as they are growing in height rapidly.
Also supplemented with Mg already, I should be good.

Preflowers have started appearing all over the place, even on the OTH, which is female
A couple Panama Hazes appear to accumulate pistils on the top shoots. Maybe I'll get away with the stretch after all.

Put the clones in plugs again, my temps are around 85F so I don't know how well it goes, but hey, they are sativa, might like the higher temps.
Whatever doesn't root I'll try to reveg anyway so I can experience this technique myself.

I like the whole cloning concept, we do it casually but it's crazy when you think in depth.
Trying to keep our favorite plants, making copies of something living.
Like stretching time. Too high???

Tray looks like a small scale model of my tent.

Looking nice there. Love to see a nice thick bed of healthy plants. That moby dick a couple pages back was looking tasty too. Did I see in your post something about the OT1 haze?? I used to hang out at another forum when that guy was around...what a legend.
Have a great day all. Peace, negative.

Hi! Thank you very much. As I have been following the forum for many of years, this means a lot to me.
Many of you I feel like my mentors in some way or another. I have gathered an enormous amount of information about everything cannabis related through here. It is an honor for me that some of you are commenting on my thread and I'm so glad I finally decided to join!

The Moby Dicks all came out really really tasty, I plan to do a collective smoke report of all my plants at some point.

Yes, in my last grow some years ago I got a pack of Old Timer's Haze as freebies and decided to pop them now to see if they are still alive and only 1 popped, I will get a photo of the plant for you in the evening or tomorrow morning, it is damn sexy even at this young age

It is the bottom right on the tent photo above, not hard to discern, it is another shade of green than the others :)

I think I forgot to post actual harvest info from previous plants. All weights are dry jarred flowers.

From the 1.2x1.2m tent with 600w HPS I got 530g to the point. Great!

From the ~0.6x0.8m space besides the tent with 250w HPS I got 114g. Not really great but space was set up in a hurry with not the best conditions.

Total 644g of which about 100g was popcorn buds and larf, this department needs more care in the future.
At least I'll get to make some ice hash without sacrificing perfect buds until I learn.

That leaves me with 0.88g/w and 0.45g/w respectively.
Not really bad, not really good, one thing for sure, won't last me until the next harvest

Since flowering has officially started, it's only right I post an update.
Day 18 11.5/12.5 and I will call this flowering day 1.
Some have not started flowering yet but the rest have started a couple days now so, a good medium for keeping records.

I also just received my new tent, an exact twin to the one I currently have. Just need to get an exhaust+filter and I'm all set.
I believe this kind of space is just right for my plans, for now. The LED will go in that tent along with whatever does not fit in the other one.

The OTH has me confused, at first I thought it showed female preflowers and I'm sure my eye caught a tiny pistil somewhere, but now they tend to look more like male. They are very small and underdeveloped so time will tell.

That's all for now, happy growing all!

Thanks exploziv ! Not even at all in my eyes but it will get sorted out ha!

Tent set up and occupied already by some inhabitants... give me a little more time and my plants will kick me out of my house because of space issues.

The Sugar Haze #4 and Moby Dick #4 mothers will spend their lives here along with clones and a couple autos.
That is if the sativas don't overgrow the other tent...

Hey dots!:whee:

Time for another update.

Old Timer's Haze is a male after all, I hope it flowers in time to try and make some seed, would be nice crossing these haze hybrids back to haze parent.
I don't really have a clue but it's not like I can make selections on the male side or something. One male 15 females. So just make seeds if the stars align.

We are now at ~42 days total, 22 days 11.5/12.5 - stretch is nowhere near stopping but I have some headspace still.
Transition was made today to my 600w HPS + A/C. They outgrew the LED footprint days ago to tell the truth. Lovely plants thus far.

Well, except for one Golden Tiger which seems unhappy, as soon as the light goes on 2-3 upper leaves look like their soul left, then on lights out they are perky again.

I have also managed to not burn them this far and no clawing, at least extended.

Some full canopy pics for starters:

The veg area is fully set up with ventilation and everything, pretty empty for now, awaiting my decisions.
The TD Silent exhaust fan I got is really silent, you hear the air moving more than the motor of the fan. Money well spent.
My clip on oscillating fan is noisier haha!

Some real beauties.

The HPS will make em stretch more, just saying.
Good score with that old timer male, good luck.

I know, branches keep growing and I keep breaking them but I don't have a choice, the led is too weak for the whole 4x4

Having never grown something like this, one day I am questioning if they will grow as large as I imagine them, next day I look at them again and pray that they don't get out of control

I will improvise as I grow regarding space, I have many options depending on if they grow large enough to fill the other tent or just get one or two under the 250 hps..

Damn I would fit both the led and the 600 in the tent but the hood is big and the led fixture also large....
