High 🤙

A friend gave me a Gelonade Bagseed out of an allegedly Canadian pack of flower.
I popped it right away and when it was approx 2 weeks old the clone arrived, SBC #26.
So growth stage wise the plants are similar.

The Bagseed is on the left in a 5L pot.
The SBC is on the right on a 9L pot.
Don’t ask me why I went for different sizes, in the end it lead to an interesting result.

The pictures are in real-time.
Day 31 of Flower
Clone got approx 25 days left
Bagseed idk, probably 10-15 days longer

So far this Bagseed is impressive in every regard.
I’m excited to taste the final product and experience the effect of this very interesting smelling plant.

Regarding my Setup, currently I'm as budget as it gets:
120x60x180 tent
160W LED Crescience FluxShield Babo 450C
Old box fan, oscillating
Undersized outtake ventilation with carbon filter
AirPots
BioBizz Light-Mix
Plagron Alga System but with PK13/14 instead of the overpriced Green Sensation
CalMag, Silic Rock, Power Buds, Power Roots, Enzymes as additives
Transplants done with Organics Nutrients Mykoriza
Unfiltered Tap Water(NRW Germany)
No pH or EC measurements
Only 2 sensors for temp+humidity at root zone and canopy

Feeding Schedule:
Nothing crazy. Feeding every 2nd day, always with nutrients.
Using CalMag as I feel the plants need it, otherwise they get everything every time.

Settings:
Trying to stay in between 26°C and 30°C at a humidity of 50-60%
Worked fine for a long time. Currently heating in my apartment is rekt, so I'm off big time.
Temps are too low and humidity too high. Using Purolyt to prevent and contain problems that might occur at such numbers.

Genetics:
SBC #26 is a cultivar that was found in the USA and imported to Europe by Herbal Grow in Vienna.
She produces small buds, but she smells tasty. Sugar leaves are covered with trichomes.

The Gelonade Bagseed came out of a smoke that was pure delight.
Awesome taste, even better effect.
Strong calming high, while keeping you sharp and creative.
Perfect for medicinal use in my opinion.

Green greetings from Germany 🤙

Both plants look, killer friend, you did a good job growing them. I can see a difference between the 2 different strains but both look very sweet and potent. If I were to choose which one I would like to smoke first, I would pick the one on the right. Thanks for posting and keep us posted.

Forgot to take comparison pictures later on of the growing plants side by side 🙈

Here you got the Gelonade Bagseed on the left and the SBC #26 clone on the right.

1.7g vs. 1.2g

It’s not the biggest Gelonade bud, but since the SBC yields small frosty nugs, I picked a medium sized bud from the top.
The SBC bud is from the top too.

Finished the run for the SBC at day 56(could go a few days longer, but the name is program here).
Finished the run for the Gelonade Bagseed at day 69. This one actually needed a few days less.

Overall I’m happy with the results fin the quality department.
Yield wise I can be happy too, since my setup is Garbagé and I can’t control temps/humidity.

How does it smoke?
The SBC developed a crazy aroma after curing for 3 weeks.
The Gelonade Bagseed is very good taste & effect wise, even Not not fully dry yet.
Can’t wait to test it once cured.
