Garden in The Valley 2016

Hah I was thinking the same thing!?! Either I start them later next season or we make 4 of our holes into one. And expand the yard out!

My holes were 13 ft on center last year. Same this year. They ended almost touching. This year I'm sure they will be. Much further ahead of the game this season. I would for sure do bigger holes but myself would do less plants. Especially having starts that big. There going to be monsters. What kind of fogger do you have?

I don't know if you can see but behind the main fence is another yard behind the pool. Next year I wanna talk him into expanding the garden out to the other yard. Less plants with bigger holes! Leave more room to work around the plants and possibly do

Sac, everything is looking bueno, man!! You can plant the cover crop now, no worries. The clover and all that will grow quite fast, so not to worry.

Have you considered just using horti trellising for plant support? You can just drape the stuff over the plants and it's cheaper than cages. If you want more support, you could put some bamboo on the corners of each plant and tie the horti trellis to that.

I think dude's plants are going to big enough that he'll want hortanova wrap after the plants grow outta the cage. It takes more than a few bamboo ime. I say rebar.
Is it poor tact to take on a question ment for Sacramental?

You're probably right, Hillmizer. Rebar would be a better call. I don't mind being corrected and it's all good for sac so he can get the most opinions before he decides what to do.

Thanks everyone for the props! Yeah I'd like to put some cover crop/mulch but we will see. Plants are getting pretty wide so I've been stressing on supporting these bitches! Worked half the day yesterday and took the day off from work to get some of the bigger plants caged up. Working through a soar throat sucks! I had my dad pick up the material but I think he got the wrong stuff! I wanted the big role of concrete reinforcement but he go cattle fencing instead lol. Fuck it it will do the job! I will most likely get the trellis netting later in the season as well.

Here are a couple of the characters he's got on the property at the moment.

This is Fiji, she is a boar hunting bitch from Fiji. Sweet to humans just don't let her out of the yard cause she is hard to catch and likes to kill anything but people lol.

This goofball is a Alaskan Malamute. He is just a puppy but his paws are fuckin huge! He is very sweet. Wish I could take him home!

Garden is starting to fill out a bit. Everything besides the big box. I don't know where he got the soil from but the plants don't seem to care much for it!
