So one possible problem with air pots outdoors. Ants seem to like them for a home.

Just watered and a huge swarm colony emerged.

IF you use a drain pan under the pots you can stop the ants.

I'm hanging on to 1 soul mate male that has a cool growth trait. Split into 2 main stems on its own without any topping. Thought that was interesting so I'll see if I can gather pollen to save for future projects.

Just wanted to ask about this Soul Mate male. Did you save any pollen from this one, or make and f2s/crosses with it?

I only ask because a couple years ago I did some breeding with Soul Mate, crossing a male to a Holy Smokes Chem Toffee female.
A plant from the resulting cross showed this same trait. The stem splitting itself and it started putting out nodes with 3 branches instead of 2 and having 3 blade leaves.
When I flowered it, it was the frostiest and quickest flowering plant I've ever grown.

These pics are 14 days into flower.

I did save some pollen from that one. Haven't done anything with it yet though. Maybe I'll hit a branch or two on the Sour Bubble x Chem 91 I have started with it for fun.

If you do I'd love to see what they're like.

I'd really like to know if this split stem trait and the faster flowering trait are Polygenic and possibly linked.
I'm guessing if this sort of thing has popped up before, most people would have just cut it, as its a mutant. Especially in a male.

It's cool to know that this is something that pops up in such a good cross too, Soul Mate has a pretty stellar lineage.

So I flipped a little less than 2 weeks ago my sour bubble crosses from @Tonygreen

Got the Chem 91 x SB and Sour D Bx x SB going. 2 plants of each in fabric pots.

They look OK but a little on the pale green side. This grow has been a little lazy, I will brew up a tea for next feeding and see if I can boost them a little.

I'll get some photos up soon. Also my temp controller shit the bed so its a little chilly in there without my heater.

I work in a 2 x 4 tent (for now) so that is tricky to manage when I try and max out the space.

here's what I have going. I think these might need longer bloom. I think I needed more N in veg but we'll see how it goes.

Going to harvest tomorrow morning. About day 62. These plants obviously were low on N going into flower. It got pretty bad and couldn't be corrected so I had the most yellow grow I ever had. That all said, the buds still look pretty nice and are quite resinous and smelly. I think I'm going to run the S diesel x sour bubble again next because I don't feel I did them

justice this go around.
