Once, I had a guerilla grow on a ledge on a steep hillside in the woods. Well, someone found it because I made a trail by going there twice a week. Did they take my plants? No, they just took a $6 bag of peat moss I had left up there and damaged a few branches by squeezing past them (they were ginormous sativas). I still pulled my entire harvest and smoked for two years.

In your situation I'd walk away and make sure I grew in a much safer spot in 2014.

I was looking into them before the season started, but thought nahhh I won't need these. Lesson learned my friend.

You don't think they would've left one or two if it were cops? I know they can only bust you in the act of harvesting/watering so I'm worried theyre waiting for me to bite the bait.

On the other hand, if the rippers just left 2 bc they couldn't carry them I'll be pissed I didnt grab them.

It's really a matter of knowing exactly how police erradicate crops around here... :/

No, I mean they wouldn't have taken anything at all. They would have left everything untouched and waited for you to have everything loaded up, then busted you and charged you with all of that. They most likely wouldn't tear everything up, leave a little behind, just to possibly spook you away.

What does sound more logical, is someone stumbled upon them, maybe even earlier in the grow, waited for harvest time, came up there and got 6, but realized they had been out there awhile, or saw another car and got scared away, just had a bad feeling that maybe you would show up, or just couldn't fit 2 more in their vehicle.

Suck tho, I feel your pain man. Better safe than sorry. There is always next year, good luck.

those are "nice" rippers not cops they left you a treat. Around here cops do not carry the weed out of the bush they chop it and leave it in a pile in the woods or throw it over a near by cliff,or crush it with a huge cement block. I know a bunch of folks who have harvested after the cops left there weed in a pile near the garden.

Join the club. It's happened to me also. Regardless of who did it, your spot is busted. You can't ever use it again, and should not go back there. You don't want to get into a confrontation with anyone even if you were lucky enough to stumble on them. I know it hurts, but let it go. You need to find a better spot.

I have had friends in BC here, when they came from there garden in the bush to get in there truck they had guns pointed at them and the cops said take us to this gps site. My friends took them through the woods on a goose chase and the cops got tired and quit after most of the day hiking. No charges where ever layed in that case, i think there was another case not many years ago where the cops found a camera in a dudes car with him in the plants near the garden, I am sure he got off. Kinda hard if you have a good lawyer to get a charge on a outdoor garden needs to be a live in spot kinda deal. Other wise i was on a hike, birdwatching, something other then growing cannabis would be my answer.

It's your situation--do what feels right. If your instinct and reasoning tell you it's cool, go for it. If you feel uneasy, don't...

Yeah I would be too for sure, although cops aren't going to stake it out for two plants, especially if they've been waiting two weeks. I dunno, is two plants worth it in your state? In some places it would be a slap on the wrist and in others it would be years lol. Your call...

I doubt it was compassion. They probably couldn't carry them all and couldn't be fucked to go back for the last two. ;) The fact they took them out of the ground means they wanted to move em.

could be some idiot who doesn't know how to process a plant and gave up on the rest of the crop after trying a minty-fresh undried uncured sample.

Or they looked up how to dry and cure and rolled their eyes after reading 300+ pages of forum postings saying "TRIM DRY, DOOOD!" "NO, MAN, TRIM WET OR THE LEAF SMELL GETS INTO YER LADIEZ BY OSMOSIS!" "NO, BRO, WITH THE LEAVES ON YOUR TRICHS ARE PROTECTED!" "NO WAY, BUDDY, YOUR TRICHS WILL ALL FALL OFF AT ONCE IF YOU TRIM DRY! I COUNTED MINE LAST HARVEST!".... Zzzzzzzzzzz.

just remember even if you go in with a mask, if they have remote trail cams they will get notified as soon as you get there so time will be limited before they arrive so be quick.

I found a grow about 40 years ago. We were fishing walking into the area when we spotted about 50 plants in a small square area. None of the plants had started to bud maybe not even showing sex. We took every plant dried it out for two weeks. Then went on to smoke the worst pot you can imagine and thought it was cool. 3/4 of an oz. a day all summer for me. Males, females it didn't matter. We were in the 9th grade and had a shitload of weed. Yes it would get you high but looking back on it I wish we wouldn't have seen it. Long story short. Your not in jail so keep it that way. Try again next season. Good luck!!!

You're too paranoid. I wouldn't go back. Let them rot. Actually, I'm sure they are already dead and rotten by now if this was two weeks ago. Don't waste your time going back out there.
