Good job fixing your leaky pipes Armanius!
I'm running Lowryders so our havests dates shouldn't be too far off one another. Had similar problem trying to flower Belladonna took me 3 tries, good luck finding info on The Goosh.
I hope your weed donut will put Dunkin Donuts out of business!
Grow on brotha'!

WARNING! Big post with big photos!

WARNING! Big post with big photos!

With my plumbing fixed, climate controller ducted, humidifier set up, I was able to tackle the training of the girls tonight.

Ultimately, I plan on installing screens like Ichabod Crane, but with a heavy Indica, I doubt they will reach enough to get to a third bulb, so I just trained them with paperclips and twine to connect the donut and space out the tops. Sorry about the pictures with lights on, need to figure out how to adjust the white balance on my camera.

Another one spread eagle!

The girls are already starting to stink, and the tops are much more spread out and connected! Should start seeing some flowers in the next 10 days or so.

I had to reevaluate my next steps with phase 2, and 3. Apparently, there is a point where you need to remove clones from the aerocloner... The anticipated next donut was going to be Chocolope, but the clones developed a hanging mat of roots similar to an NFT root structure, and they were way too top heavy since the stem was not allowed to thicken up as the roots developed. I have decided to run a multi-crop for my second donut, but it will be similar strains. I have an ECSD, an Ultimate Strawberry Diesel, and 4 solid Chocolopes. I would anticipate them having similar needs, except for the USD. My third donut will be all ECSD, and will be taking cuttings for them in the next few days. After the Goosh is finished, I will be replacing that strain with USD.
I culled a very top heavy Goosh to make room for my last USD clone in my veg system. I shut down the cloner, and will be cleaning everything in the next few days in order to receive the ECSD cuttings.
picture.php

My Chocolope mother (seen in the front) that was taken from a flowering plant is exibiting the same crazy branching structure as the Goosh. Perfect mother material, and I will likely be taking any new mothers from flowering plants, and depending on the yield, I may take all my clones from flowering plants...
picture.php

The ECSD mum would be capable of spitting out 20+ clones, but I am going to be taking the 10 best off the top in the next day or so.

Have one more Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, so will likely not be able to post or get anything more done tomorrow. This weekend I plan on getting the rest of the room cleaned and sealed up. Then next week I will be hanging reflectix on all the walls, and buckets.
Hope everyone had a good time with family and friends today! I for one am thankful for this miracle plant that we are all devoting so much effort to provide those that are in need.

I have tried multiple times to get the flowering time for Goosh (Afgooey x OG Kush), but have been unsuccessful... Anyone have and info on the strain, such as nutrient needs, flower time, stretch factor, etc...
From what I can tell, Afgooey is a 9 week strain from Afghani #1 crossed with Maui Haze, and OG Kush is a 6-8 week strain. I suppose it should finish somewhere in between?
Anyways, back from the store, and heading back to the room to train these bitches!

My AffyGoo (indoor) took about 8-9 weeks to finish properly....but that was total time from clone to clip. I've grown it both indoor AND outdoor makes KILLER hash also but I know you know that

hey broski you gotta cover up those red lights on the portable AC, or maybe your plants don't mind? Some plants will get pissed off at the red light... Looking good!

I covered up the blue LED display on the front of the unit, and the display on the top is an orange LED. I hope that won't be an issue, but I can build a shroud if needed.

I'll take healthy moms for 800!
The girls look great and I can't wait to see them bulk up into ladies. Good luck trying your hand at monstercropping, anticipate 6 weeks of cloning, ~40% survival rates and AWESOME BRANCHING. You probably know all of this though!
It's just so unpopular due to the fact it takes patience but my god the plants it produces scare me! Take it easy and grow on!
:tiphat:

P.S. (Sorry for posting here daily, It's my only sub'ed journal and you make awesome updates :x )

Sorry bro, but it's not if needed... Put some tape over it. Once the temperature is dialed you don't need to see it anyway. It's going to be nothing but trouble for you especially with finicky sativas.

You got a point bro, will tape it up tonight, can just use the remote control to control the settings...

Luckily, since I will be doing staggered donuts, I should have enough downtime between crop replacement that I could monster-crop. It would give me something to do, since I can't stand just sitting there looking at the plants... I took 24 cuttings from flowering plants and put them into my cloner with zero losses, but yeah about 6 weeks to get sorted is about right. I have enough spots in my cloner, and I am thinking of doubling my veg capacity and move my cloner into my flower room in a light proof shelf above my res.
Thanks for stopping by, and don't worry about over posting lol...

Well, with all the time spent in the new flower room, I let my veg system run too low on nutes, and I think I am going to lose my first couple of plants that I did not purposely cull. 200ppm is a tad low for fully developed root systems...
Not a big deal though since I have 9 sites in the veg system, and only room for 6 plants in flower, and should have enough plants to go into flower in 3-4 weeks.
My ECSD mom grew through the T-5s! Good thing I made a PVC framework for it, so it just kept growing... I am douching my cloner tonight and will be taking new ECSD cuts, either tonight or tomorrow.
Things are pretty smooth sailing in the flower room. One of the last things I need to do is hook up my RO water feed to my res, which will make things hands free aside from adding nutes once a week or so.
Going to try to snap some shots right as the lights come on tonight. bbl...

Nice, monstercrops are hilarious, they look like and elephants foot with nails hammered into them. Have had no luck finding a vert monster journal so this grow show might be a double feature. :)

Wich cuts did you monstercrop? ECSD or the Goosh?
I ask because I never got stable survival rates but I suspect it was because I took the cuts from a flowering durban poison, and that sativa's react badly to monstercropped clones (2 out of 5 rooted = 40% ). I'll try it on a hybrid soon and see if I can hone my technique.
Mmmmm, automated donuts :)
Grow on!

I took 12 cuts from my flowering outdoor Goosh, and Chocolope. Someone gave me my ECSD cuts from a flowering plant also. The only cuttings that I lost were the ECSD that were in (likely un-PHed rockwool).
My only concern is I think I have heard somewhere that the yield suffers from monster-cropping, but that could have been user error. If it works out, I would only need to keep mothers for strains that I will have on ice so to speak.

Looks like the stretch has officially started after last nights cycle! I noticed new tops on all the Colas. Last night the tallest plant was 21", and the shortest was 14". I don't have too much hope in a big stretch, but if I get at least 10-12", they will be in perfect position for the second light. These bitches better earn their keep, or will get bounced from my rotation.
Added my float valve controlled feed line to my res last night and finally got my water levels high enough where I want it for now. Probably added 5 gallons to my system which dropped my ppm by 200, so added a bit more nutes. After stretch undercurrent recommend dropping the water level the rest of flower. The beauty of the system is all I need to do is adjust the float valve.

I was going to grab some last night, but my timer was off by 15 minutes. I will try again tonight...

I've only been gone for a couple of days and we're playing Trailer Park Jepordy with words and the brain thinking, I've only got my grade 11 (GED). My plants drank 15 gals of water and grew like shit apples after a back/outside dounut trim yesterday evening.

Last night was the start of week 2. After installing my RO feed to my control bucket my ppms have been dropping 40-50 points a day. Started off at EC of 1.0 of transitional mix, and tonight I will give them their first feeding of the bloom mixture. Things are picking up, noticing new nodes on all the tops, so I figure stretch has officially started in the last 48hrs. Not sure how long the stretch will last, but I figure at least two more weeks.
With the first round of holidays done, and some domestic crap sorted out, I should be able to put up more regular updates...
