moby dick by dinafem / 12/12 day 67

Beautiful flowers, I have a Moby Dick in flower at day 57 but she won't look as good as yours in 10 days, really curious about the smells, mine had a pungent pine smell for most of its flowering but it evolved in something more citric those last days, very powerful smell and complex. At first I was not sure I would grow the clones i took because I'm not a fan of pine smells in cannabis but as it evolves into something more lemony I rethink my choice.
My seed is from Silent Seed, the company created by ex employees from Dinafem, got it as a gift.

i have exactly the same scent as you (pungent / skunky pine smell - it's noticeably strong) and if i'm sure it usually indicates to haze side?
dinafem moby dick is said to be jack herer x white widow, so it does have a lot of haze genetics in it. mine stays like this. it won't change to lemony at all.
for smoke, it's one of the strongest strains i've ever grown or tasted. many people say they don't want to smoke it, because it's too hysterical and nervous or anxious. and the effect lasts forever (almost 5 to 6 hours).
after fading off munchies are real. also this pheno makes very good yield. unfortunately in this grow i had issues with temperatures and ph/ec, but the result is still nice.

i found some very old original dinafem seeds in a random store. i had something like 35 seeds and about 12 of them germinated. at first i had to throw a few away, because they weren't growing well, and later i only had 5 plants left which i finished. 3 of them were decent, but the last 2, oh my god. i call them elites.
it's such a shame i lost another one that had a fruity scent and a berry taste. it was completely covered with trichomes and the effect was slightly stronger than this pine. so yes it was really strong weed, but actually this pine is still scary to consume.

Looks amazing, what is the flavor on this like? I’ve been looking for something hazy.

Not hazy at all.
Sour lemony/mango from the Thaï side and oily/woodsy/fermented from the Malawi side.

If you want something REALLY hazy, buy the Panama Haze from Ace. 50% Panama 50% Oldtimer's Haze. Super lemony/incensy with metallic notes and spicy (basil, thyme) notes. I chopped mine yesterday after 13 1/2 weeks of flowering.
