FoxFarm PH Problems

No more Grow Big! you don't need it this late in flower. I would still give em a quarter cup of Big Bloom every other watering. Now I know that sounds like a lot, but it's not. If you look at the NPK numbers, they're not even whole numbers. Big Bloom is like a mild tea, it won't burn em. The bacteria will help recondition yer soil and baby the plants into feeding. Right now, it's the only hope you have, imo...... I've used as much as 2 cups per gallon every other water many, many times before, they love it! So don't be afraid of big bloom........... I bet if you would have used bigger pots and jus stuck with TB and BB you wouldn't have had any problems at all. I've started a lot of local folks out with it and they have all done well....... Now if they will jus listen when it comes ta no light leaks, not too hot or cold, you can't put that 1000 watt light 2 inches from the plants, they need air, no, a black light won't work! :biglaugh: ahh well, whadda ya gonna do........ Anyhoo, I sure hate ta see a fellow grower have problems, I wish ya luck finishin em. Take care... BC

thunderkal- thx for the info i am gonna have to check that stuff out. i ran by my local hydro shop and they told me the best All Organic stuff is- Earth Juice. The best chemical is of course Flora nova with floralicious and BC Bloom.

hes been growing for years works at a hydro store and has tried every last nutrient in there and still says Chemical and Organic do not taste different at all. he says proper growing and proper flushing will provide a clean smoke with white ash.

BC- haha yea i did plenty of reading hoping not to make super noob mistakes. i was following the grow guide, i am done giving them nutrients since its almost time to chop em. there gonna be at week 7 when i get back to them and i am going to begin flushing them. can i give them Big Bloom all the way up to chopping?

I am having similar problems with my plants. Im using the fox farm trio also. I guessing my problem is ph since from what you have experienced looks similar to mine. Do you have any updates on what your plants look like today or when you chopped. Im also using a similar setup as you light and fan ect... Would love to here what you have to say.

Thanks

Trycomb- after much trial and error and help from all the knowledgeable icmagers i have compiled a way to fix the problem. the problem relies in the Tiger bloom the shit skyrockets the PH far below 5.0 (which is were my PH meter stops). after adjusting that ph problem alone the Big bloom poop liquid likes the fluctuate the PH. from 5.8-6.7. fox farm ocean forest has humus (which helps to stable PH) but the fox farm additives trio pack kills the HUMUS in the soil. so depending on how long you have been feeding the soil low ph water depends how fucked up the soil is. Also DO NO USE R/0 water, i use Brita water to rid of heavy metals and chlorine but plain tap water is fine the calcium and metals found in the water will help stabilize the PH. (just remember to let it bubble or sit out over night)

How to FIX the problem.

Starting from a messed up plant-(depending on severity and length of bad feeding schedule) take the plant out of the soil and shake off as much old dirt as possible and dump the old dirt out and start with a batch of fresh dirt and immediately provide a light watering of big bloom and Super thrive to rejuvenate the old roots and hopefully fix the small amount of old dirt.

Next When you begin the next watering using tiger bloom. start the water concoction first with plain tap water add the big bloom then adjust that Ph first to 6.5-6.8 after the desired Ph is gained begin to add the other nutrients and let the concoction bubble over night and check the Ph in the morning to see if there is a change. once the PH is checked and your at 6.5-6.8 then you are ready to water. When the Humus is alive in the soil Big Bloom poop liquid will not fluctuate much and hurt the plants.

Here are a few pics of the plants at day 70+ they have all been chopped and trimmed i have a link to my grow in my SIG. i got a wopping 120 grams even with the fuck up so i'm happy. :joint: :joint: :joint:
