Ocean Forest and Happy Frog are most definitely strong enough to burn germing seeds and seedlings. I lost quite a few plants because of its "heat". I'm surprised to hear it works for other people. I won't risk it again.

You can get twice as much Happy Frog for the same amount of money as the OF. Thats the only reason I chose it. I noticed the same problem with the moisture content. Was only watering like every other weeks. Adding peat moss and perlite I was able control it. DONT SKIMP ON THE PERLITE.
