Including the wine, considering the cost of everything nowadays with inflation the way it is, that is a very reasonable deal. A meal for two like that was going for around $160+ over 7 years ago while I worked at a four star... so a good deal indeed.

ya thats a decent price. watch out tho when yo woman drags your ass to a sushi joint. ouch it hurt my wallet. and nuthin was cooked. smart orientals if ya ask me. i start with california rolls and a bottle of saki. after that bottle bait looks good to me . you can dip anything in wasabi and eat it.

You're right, perfect example! Sushi places can be very tricky, and the sushi chefs know just how to squeeze every bloody dime out of your wallet, lol.. I took a girl out one night for her b-day and the sushi chef recommended the lobster sashimi, and then a soup with the left over parts. The lobster sashimi was out of this world good but, after that and the rest of our meal, the $175 check that came with it was shocking..
To make matters worse when we got back to her house, her kid was awake. I went home early, horny and hungry for a double double with cheese... Grrr... But could no longer afford the fucking hamburger....
yep thats hilarious. i got 2 places within walking distance and a few more minutes away.when i treat to dinner i try an avoid them places.and i got several grills and a stove out back for midnight steaks
