Hello Friends!

We are at day#28 / 4weeks, and the time has come for another update on the Goo Gals! :yummy:

I am hoping the pictures speak for themselves? :woohoo:

Anyone care to guesstimate what harvest weight will be>? :chin:

400 Watt, 4ft by 3 1/2 ft cab, vegged and LST, plants went into 12/12 at 2 ft high.

Thanks for tuning in! :lurk:

Thanks Skunkydemon and Immortal! It feels good to be here!
-- Thanks for your kind words. It was amazing to see difference in growth from 150 watt to 400. They seem to be enjoying their new energy source, and are rewarding me with a wonderful show. I have noticed that they have slowed down alot since their first couple weeks flowering. Now I don't notice the growth as much as I notice the nice layer of tric's that gets a little nicer, and spreads a lil more, and the buds getting a lil fatter. Oh this wait is killing me! :badday:

Well you can't complain about that germination ratio! Now if they were only all female! If that happens, then it's time to go buy a lottery ticket!

Today was time to do a little work on the garden. :woohoo:

I repotted my 5 bagseed plants that are now 1 month old. 3 of these I put into the flower chamber with the 2 Goo Plants that are on day #30 of flower. I am hoping that these bagseeds are all female, but I shall know for sure in a couple weeks. :chin:

The female bagseed plants will be flowered out and should finish about 4 weeks after my Goo gals, and the beginning of a perpetual harvest if all goes according to plan!

I also had to do some tieing and trimming on the Goo Gals, as some branches were falling over from the weight of buds. :yoinks: (Now this is a problem that I can deal with!)

I also pruned off some the the popcorn buds that were way down low and not getting any light. These are hanging now, and will give me a chance to take a little sample. :joint:

Time to put my feet up, take a break, and watch 'em grow!

Hello Friends!

Decided to update some pics, we are at day #33 of Flower, and the Goo Gals were showing a little nute def, so I did a 3/4 strength Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom cocktail. In the pics you can see the new roomates for the Goo Gals, which are some unknown bagseeds germed about a month ago.

See Ya next time, thanks for stopping by!

Stankbud- THanks for the kind words! I know now that I let them veg just a little too long. I did not have a clue about how much they would grow during flowering.

Goo #1 (on left) was pruned and topped many times, in order to get a bush.

Goo #2 (right) was topped once, taking off the top 6" for clones, and had a little LST done on it.

As you can see from the recent pictures, Goo #1's weak and bushy branch structure has made it necessary to tie up or support almost all of the upper branches. Whereas Goo#2 has a nice upper branch structure that is holding the buds up well. Next time I top and prune alot, I will use a screen for help in supporting the plant and keeping an even canopy.

Hello everyone!

Time for another garden update, and some new pictures too. :lurk:

First we will start with the bad news, I am still showing signs of a ph lockout, but the good news is that it is not getting worse. The culprit to the low pH? Well,...ahem.., it was me. :pointlaug Too much love, and incorrect watering method.

I had been giving them Fox Farms Tiger bloom, and Big Bloom. Never at full strength, just usually 1/4 to 1/2 reccomended. Well that might have worked had I been watering correctly. However, I caused a buildup of salts and ferts in the soil by not giving enough water and by not letting the plant drain the runoff. In addition, my fert frequency was a little too often, but I have stopped all ferts till harvest! All noticable growth has stopped with the exception of the buds swelling up. The Goo Gals, #1 and #2, are expected to be ready in 4 weeks. :chin:

The 3 bagseed plants have been sexed, and they are all females. :woohoo: Looks to be 1 Heavy sativa, and 2 ind/sat. In addition I have added another Goo clone to the flower chamber, which is actually the top 6" that I took off of Goo #2 (On the Right). The new Goo clone (Goo Clone 2.1) is about 8 weeks old since it was hacked off Goo#2. Goo clone 2.1 is now about 10 days into flower.

See Ya!

Nice work & i see bountiful harvests in your near future.

I am not sure(missed) what the bag seed came from but from past experience i'd like to suggest to keep a close eye on those bs plants for any hermies as they grow. Just my thoughts . Take care & heavy harvests to yaz. Peace 3ld

Looking good Goo..I'd be thinking about re-potting one more time...If the roots can't grow neither will the plants..
Might get wispy buds if the roots can't keep growing...If the plants are using up water fast..
When the soil is dry..you can pull the plant up by the base of the stem and all of the soil should easily lift..if you massage the sides of the pot first..
Don't even try it if the soil if moist..root damage will occur..
You can see if the roots are all bunching up at the bottom and sides..If so definately re-pot...
Something like Botanicare Clearex will break down salt build up and help with flushing it out..my :2cents:

Packn2puff, Glad you could drop in! I hear you on the re-potting, and I am pretty sure they have ran out of room, :pointlaug however, these babies are already in the largest containers I can handle. :badday: (10 gallon). Next time, the plants will have a better re-potting schedule. :chin:

Hello B.C., yes things are looking nice! The smell is very very mild , until you move em around a little or get some Goo on your hands. :woohoo: Then, it is a nice fruity smell, very sweet, with a hint of pine, it is not skunky, or funky. I am looking forward to trying this one when it is done! And as far as the garden not being big enough? I have already had that thought! :chin:

Thanks for dropping by!

Here is a budshot taken today at day #42, or six weeks. Less than a month to go now!
