Flying out of DIA / Denver ... anyone with real experience? help..

Hey guys, since it looks like I'm new, I better first introduce myself. I'm not really new but just took a long break, had to work on getting some minor charges dismissed. I have been around since the early OG days actually. Just to let you know I'm not some stupid kid , etc.

Now guys and girls, here is my deal. I'm flying out to Denver in a few days and want to sneak back some meds. Since I haven't smoked in a few years I want to get a CBD strain and a regular indica and sneak it back on the plane.

Now I used to do this all the time out of SFO back in the 90's with QP's and even the occasional HP but I haven't flown in years. But I really just want to get like 1/2 oz through.

The only thing I can think of is to arrange it in my pants so it can't be felt and opt out of the scanner. Or to put it in my bag and hope they don't find it and make me toss it.

Have any of you gone through DIA with herb in your bag and they didn't care lately?

I haven't smoked in a few years due to the above mentioned legal issues (that are now taken care of) but I have a real medical condition and I need to know if CBD works for me and to bring it back home for my next round of treatment at the hospital.

Like you through SFO i brought herb through many times in the 90's. No way now. The only way I would travel with pot is BHO hidden very well. Good luck, avoid Ebola.

BTW - they have machines that can see your nakid body, so don't strap anything to your person.

Have you flown lately? because last time I did I was able to see what the scanners see with their x-ray or whatever it is. You see everything and most of it was in color which seemed odd. When you're at the end of the conveyer belt putting on belt and shoes is where you could see the screen. This was in DIA a year ago.

But did you put some buds in your carry on? I thought about just doing all clothes and weed in my main bag, and my electronics and stuff that could get flagged in a smaller personal bag.

Do they open every last single bag now, or just when something gets flagged?

maybe wrap it up and hide it at the bottom of a bag of chips or just ball it up in a few boxer shorts?

I'm not at all worried about getting busted at Denver but I'm worried about coming home empty handed since if they call the cops over they make people toss their stash...but is that really happening in practice?

remember, you're seeing headlines about how much people hate the TSA all the time. we're living in a surveillance state. if i were desperate for weed, i'd probably just try with seeds, and make sure that whatever they're hidden in has that kind of texture or space them out so they don't look weird on xray.

The xrays are color to show nitrogen based explosives, it will also show hash near to the same as explosives...

I'm only going to bring flowers/buds...there's no risk at DIA except having to trash your stash, that's all I'm trying to avoid, coming home empty handed. 1/2 oz or less is borderline decrim in my state, too

check out all the freaky murals there...zombie gestapo soldiers with guns, a gargoyle in a suitcase ect..very freaky for an airport..since the weed scene blew up I haven't tried to carry any weed there...good luck... flights are federal and charges are more extreme

I flew out of DIA in September, they had police dogs walking up and down the aisles, the dogs came by twice while I was waiting to enter the security checkpoint. It was probably incident specific, as I've never seen police dogs at DIA before. For me even the risk of missing a flight is not worth it. Agree - US mail, UPS or FedEx!

Its still a felony to take any amount of weed on a plane.you really think they'll just throw it away?lol!!if you get busted you will go to jail,even if it is colorado

For small stash...tape it to your shorts and do not get the x-ray, insist on a hand pat down.

Has worked for me countless times since 9/11.

Else, mail it. USPS. Make sure it is smell proof (jars) as anything flown is checked by dogs though mostly for bombs.
