If anyone thinks flushing is pointless grow a tomato plant using pure blend pro with cal mag or any other base nute. I ate some tomatos off the plant without flushing and it tasted just like the smell of cal mag or pureblend. soo disgusting. While i agree with LUcas on almost everything he preached i think he's nuts for telling people not to flush/.

Going to guess that unflushed cannabis will LOSE in the Pepsi Challenge every time when smoked against a well flushed plant.
Everyone's taste buds are different, however all the growers I know throw down flushed AAA when we sit around the table and share our best.
Even the soil growers quit the nutes and runs water only or water and a flushing product, for their taste test samples.
We are all free to grow as we choose and I am going to continue bringing nutes to ZERO and using sugars to flush for the last two weeks of nine week plants.
I've tried nutes all the way through, didn't like the taste as much and the yield was the same.

Just mixed up a fresh batch of flower nutes. 5ml GH micro, 7.5ml GH Bloom, 2.5ml GH Grow, 2.5ml GH Diamond Nectar, 2.5ml Becuzz Bloom, 9/16ml Carboload powder (.5625 x num of gallons 5ml in a teaspoon 15 per Tablespoon) per each gallon of well water, PH down to 5.8. This is what they get the first seven weeks. And the PPM is 750.
When I flush I use well water and .81818181ml Carboload powder per gallon. PH to 5.8 and that is what they get the last two weeks.
Defend as you will but if it can't win the Pepsi Challenge it might not be worth defending.

Sup with them nutes bro?? Ever heard of maxibloom, let me simplify the process for ya... 7g's, you can cut out that nonsense... I used to do that, mix and match, calculating nutrient profiles, waste of time for the same results, plants can only take in what they can take in.

This is the LVPK at day 50 1 day into flush.
I'll put my PK up against your's any day. I've been smoking it since 2004. I can't get 3lbs a light like you, but am happy with 1.5+.
I guess if you get twice the yield it doesn't matter if it is unflushed commercial, but I don't think anyone around this place talks of 3lb unflushed strains as AAA.
Again Pepsi challenge anytime.
