Floridated water safe for bongs/waterhash??

Is water treated with flouride or whatever ( for drinking) safe to use with bongs and ice hash or does the flouride burn when heated and cause cancer. I think i heard bubbleman say something about this.

Also dosent tap water have clourine, wouldent this make it unsafe as well??

In the longrun anyway.

Flouride is dangerous for people even in non-heated, average supplies that is provided with tap water. But Im only talking about when you drink the water. I don't believe it's corrosive to your bong though.

As far as chlorine, you can let the water sit for a bit and let the chlorine dissipate.

When you use a bong you aren't heating up the water by any appreciable means. I'd say that's a myth

zamalito i like that.

after recieving -k for my bongwater joke i searched to see if i could find any problems related to heatin fluorinated water, i didnt find any. problems/ hazards are from comsuming it. also found mention of fluoride bein an air pollutant.

They also sell cigarettes, beer, soda, and lots of other things that are bad for you when consumed. It doesn't mean it's harmless just because you can buy it.

And yes, most people do brush their teeth with flouridated toothpaste. However, you will notice that when swallowed, you are urged to call poison control center immediately. You are also generally advised not to eat or drink anything for a few hours after brushing your teeth so you don't ingest much flouride.

So... how good do you think the flouride in the tap water (or bottled water) can really be for you?

And of course, you always can end up with (And I have seen a lot of cases of) Dental Fluorosis from too much fluoride.

I think he's talking about smoking the fluoride which gets incorporated into the water hash process (if you use water that has it in it)

I wouldn't wanna smoke fluoride. I'm sure it can't be good for ya. Eating it and brushing teeth with it seems a little less harmful.
