i still see blue roofs when i visit my dad.....ivan then dennis for florida, katrina and rita for most of the gulf coast....last season was a nice calm change, i wonder what the old farm book projects for this year
It's been so long since I've heard from GSTQ that I forgot who he is except he was a friend from the panhandle who got hit by Ivan.
BTW, it's funny that you think of Florida as just the little piece of the panhandle on the far west, bordering Alabama. Florida got hit by four hurricanes in 2004 and another four in 2005. Ivan and Dennis were the two that hit the western panhandle. Personally, I got hit by Katrina and Wilma in Miami. Ft. Pierce got hit by Francis and Jeanne. Ft. Myers got hit by Charlie. I can't think of the eighth hurricane that hit Florida. I think the one I'm missing hit the west coast of south Florida or the Keys.
Well, we have had two calm seasons in a row now. I'm hoping this will be the third.
KINGPIFF - nice pics. Cats usually aren't a big problem once the plant is that big. They might nibble on a leaf or dig a little. I find that buds covered in cat hair is not appetizing to eat, though. I cook and eat most of my harvest because I don't like smoke. I wonder if the cat is sleeping because he is stoned on the leaf he ate? lol I guess cats don't need an excuse to sleep.
