Whats up Flo-riders, hope all is well..... Here is a shot of GromXGK see if we can get some coloring to her late in flowering. She is 28 or 30 days in at the moment.
i see you are using pl-l lamps. i just got 220 watts in and a workhorse 8 ballast and will soon replace my hps with p-ll's.
i too moved from soil to coco and i love it. the last block of coco i bought was alot different than the first, it real coarse and water flows through too easy so next time ill make sure it a fines cut coco.
its easier to haul dehydrated blocks of coco than bags of soil. its cleaner to work with and im not sure you can over water it.
using maxibloom / koolbloom as my only nutes and its heaven compared to all the soil amendments and bird guano when reusing my organic soil.
i just spread all my organic soil in the flowerbeds outside so theres no turning back.
Yeah I have two 125W Red CFLs...use them for a little side boost when flowering, along side the HPS. They will be replaced soon with a 90W UFO LED to augment the HPS. Move the CFLs back to veg duty, until I replace them completely with LEDs.
Coco is just so nice and clean...and the hot soil I dropped the seeds in after germ caused burnt tips and yellowing. Since the move to coco, all new growth is a very healthy green.
Joining the KiSS army but having a time finding Maxibloom in the UK....so using the regular Bloom and Micro from GHE. Only got a litre of each....so I will have to find a source in a few months I reckon.
Sticking my hands into a 50L bag of what we normally call bird shit....no more.
Some good looking plants. That Medijuana looks interesting...and the Chronic has nice skinny leaves. 13th Oubilette...ain't ever heard of that strain, but if it looks like that at 25 days, I bet it is gonna be great.
We lost the last of the fall colour in england this weekend....all the leaves are gone. Like reaching the very top of a roller coaster ride...snow forecasted for the end of the week.
KK, still warm and dry here - not trying to rub it in, just the way it is. I could certainly go for some cooler temps right now.
Getting started on a 4-5 month outdoor harvest plan, lots of other strains will make their appearance soon enough. Got some Chitrali, some Grapefruit Haze and some Kush on the horizon as well as the unknown stuff I've been growing for years.
Still trying to clone and sex some of these, but thats pretty much what I had planned for this winter anyway.
Hope everyone is having a safe, stoney and well-fed holiday.
It is just another work day here in england...but I remember this holiday well.
Never wear white underwear on Thanksgiving Day.
'Stick a trumpet up my ass and I will play you a song'
It is also that day when you spend time with those family members you only see once or twice a year...and confirm again that once or twice a year is still too often.
LEO will be grumpy today...as it sucks to have to oppress the vox populi when they would rather be at home, oppressing their families.
Our corporate masters will be very happy this day...corporate profits are their highest in recorded history.
Is there a strain most appropriate for Thanksgiving Day? We need a nice cranberry kush
or something.
Enjoy the day friends.
(apologies if you are a native american as I realise that this holiday may seem like the celebration of the historical start of genocide against your people)
I think I'm going to celebrate this year I see turkeys in my neighborhood every now and then and thought if I could shoot one and cook it I'll consider it a Thanksgiving proper, maybe fun, I'm so excited
